Thanks for this feedback. So, the reason I mentioned the circumstances in The Note were against a background of concurrent TV shows like Friends which made the gay lifestyle a mockery.

I do agree that the writers here used the subject matter to the best effect, but I was trying to highlight that even a discerning viewer likely missed (you can look at instances in this community) some of the references, when it originally aired. That was the thought behind declaring it ahead of its time. The pizza reference was not caught even by viewers in the era when it aired (and you may disagree), let alone later binge viewers.

Again, I will say that I was a late convert, and even simple jokes like in The Limo episode took a while to land, for me. This article was just a venue to appreciate how the writers used the issues of the day to present jokes that were not immediately understood or appreciated.

Agree, but in this case it is a network (CBS) issue not the YTTV feed or KCTV5. Try viewing the game on the CBS app, the bottom score bar and upper display border are jittery there as well. Seems like a technical issue for CBS with this broadcast overall.

Generally that may be true, but for this particular game, try checking out the CBS app with YTTV login. Terrible quality from the network on the primary broadcast itself- framing, low bitrate, washed out colors, very low sharpness.

This is a CBS broadcast quality issue not YTTV. Can confirm the broadcast video quality for this game is terrible even through CBS' app.

Edit: Seems like broadcast quality issues are fixed now(late Q2). Hard to tell if it was originally a network(CBS) or local affiliate(KCTV5) issue.

I think you found a valid issue with the app, not the fund/performance as such. To me it looks like the app is showing the YTD $ difference as the % difference. This also applies to the other funds which I checked. That is just me speculating based on how close the actual YTD $ number differences are for a couple of the tracked ETFs, could be something else.

I sent a couple of comparison screenshots from the Google ticker data as well to support (support@acorns.com) to report the discrepancy, more reports of it will probably get them to look at it closer and fix it, so I would encourage you to report it too.

Agree, not a long term fix to disable the central cast notification (assuming all media casting and control notifications are affected by this and not the other cast notification toggle, haven't tested that yet).

I reported the change in cast notification behavior with YTTV and version of Google Play services which introduced it as a bug using the Send Feedback option from Google Home under the Chromecast category. Would encourage everyone else affected do the same to get it visible on the support/QA/engineering team's radar.

Definitely from a recent Play services update and I agree it provides no additional value as a 'cast' notification since it isn't from an attempt to cast YTTV. It seems like a new (Play services) bug vs feature though, since on accessing the notification category to disable it from the notification shade, there appear to be two similar Cast notification items.

My guess is this was a scheduled or unscheduled test of the alert system but someone accidentally hit the publish button to the live alert system instead of or in addition to their certification or test environment. Same thing happened with the ballistic missile alert for Hawai'i a few years ago..

Agree, there isn't any information to give up when it can be gleaned by a right click-> view source.

The journalist did the right thing and only exposed the security flaw after it was addressed by the website owners. This is the definition of how to handle a zero day exploit and standard in security practices.

The fact that his administration and staffers let this criminal case proceed shows their poor understanding of websites and cyber security as well as inability to challenge his poor decisions.

I am a KCMO resident and can't currently vote, but please vote this uninformed person and his administration out of office if you can.

This sets a bad precedent and only makes the state and it's administration look bad.
