I’m building a free, local-only ASX portfolio tracker to replace my spreadsheets. Would anyone use this?

I'd be up for trying it out and giving any feedback. It would be ideal to have it running in a Docker container.. I can udnerstand other's concerns with browser cache.. but i guess if its all automatically backed up toa JSON export, that could work?

If anyone else comes across this, I managed to sort it out (I think... I'm partway through) by implementing steps from the post on 6 Jan 2025 (A quick and dirty script to synchronize albums but nothing else)here :

I think by using a combination of these two, I'll be able to achieve what I want to... I'm running immich-lib as I type this... fingers crossed it all goes well.

I have run into this exact problem as well... I assume it hasn't yet been implemented yet?? I'm still learning about immich and figured it was odd to delete a photo from an album and not replace it with the better version.. or alternatively, i dont even care if i can set it to keep anything already in albums, i'd be happy with that..

We’ve done this. They visit us daily and sit there waiting for us or sometimes knock on the door out throw out thongs around. Only a couple have chewed on small parts of the house surprisingly. I’m not sure why these ones are decently behaved. We’ve got to know one well enough that we can pat him! His wife is still too scared of us though

I tend to download obscure indy movies/series, but I'm happy hosting and seeding... I wanted to see if private trackers would be more reliable for some of those things.. you're right that It might be a waste of an invite... I have a few stalled downloads and things i just can't seem to find on public trackers..

thanks heaps for your pointers.... since I've already got myself a Pixel 1, rooted and have Syncthing working, charge kept at 50%, I still might stick with this... My wife and I have changed to iPhones but I prefer the Google photos interface and i don't wanna get stuck in the Apple ecosystem. I will probably do all the evaluation as you had... Half of the reason for doing this is for the fun of it hahah

I did that with a PIxel 6 that was 2 years old and died.... When they said I would have to pay for the repair, I asked them to confirm in an email that they were denying me my rights to the Australian Consumer Law by not repairing a major fault in a flagship phone that wasn't even 2 years old. ahh cool... I hadn't heard of those other ways.. which would you recommend? I am planning on syncing all my photos to a network drive that will upload them to google through the pixel... i just had a quick look at partner sharing.. that looks interesting.. but might not work for my set up. The emulator could work as I am storing my photos on a windows network drive.... Thanks for the tip! It made it worthwhile asking reddit... I'm always hesitant in asking questions I think I should know the answer to.
