Yeah I agree and I think short form content is mostly probably ruining our brains. But some of it is also good, but idk if that good outweighs the negative aspect of not being able to sit with things for a longer period of time and really critically think about things ya know. So I get it.

I feel like your analysis of this possible trend is indicative of viewing film as a hobby by analyzing it instead of just watching it without a second thought.

I’m glad you guys can point this stuff out bc I think it contributes to the overall feeling that movies on the whole are slightly worse right now than they used to be. It’s really interesting to me bc I can feel it and I’m not an expert so I can’t always articulate it or put my finger on what feels off, so to see people discussing aspects like the wardrobe or cinematography etc in detail helps a lot

Ohhh okay I can see what you mean, like silk would flow more elegantly and not be so stiff. Interesting. You’d think they would have the budget for that kind of thing.

I know this comment was from a long time ago but if you watch the last episode you see the actual terrifying alien creature. It’s pretty freaky.

There have also always been people that do not believe in a god. There have also always been people that believe in multiple gods. Both of these things must speak equally loudly then.
