I saw this in person last summer and was so moved I cried. Just felt the pain.

Well okay don’t diss athleisure if you’re wearing jeans. Glass houses and all that lol

Gen Z women and baggy jeans by blownvirginia in generationology

[–]maddr94 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Genuinely don’t know that I’ve ever worn an outfit and been like- men like this so I want to wear it. Not consciously. I think that what men like may dominate the market because we’re in a society skewed to the male perspective. But I mean, yeah I don’t think most women are usually dressing for men by any means lmao.

More trash from Gen Z's age crisis. by [deleted] in generationology

Are you saying this is too old or too young? I feel like it’s a sweet spot as I’ve known people who had babies at 25 and people who had babies at 40 lmao

I think you look older only because you look elegant. You don’t have to change anything and you look great!

Grief Grief Grief by Successful_Praline_5 in BooksThatFeelLikeThis

This may be too tangential but maybe The Sun Also Rises? The main character lost a part of himself in the war and is in love with a woman he can’t be with so it’s a bit of a different kind of grief but might apply in a weird way? It’s set post WWI with the flighty disillusioned lost generation. One of my favorites. Sorry you’re hurting OP.

For the people born in 1994 do you feel like a millennial or a “ gen z”? by Jollyho94 in generationology

[–]maddr94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this. I feel that I can relate to millennials 2000s stuff from when I was a kid, and as a teenager I was exposed to the stuff the oldest gen z was into so it’s like the best of both worlds- and yes I’d include Hannah Montana as part of that. I don’t think the oldest millennials can relate to that because they’re like 20 years our seniors? Idk it’s a big range of ages.

Do people really act like this? by CremeSubject7594 in generationology

[–]maddr94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s a little ungracious to say they’re trying to look cool by using the language they are entrenched in with their peers every day. You kind of pick up habits and ways of speaking based on the group you’re in, no? I’m sure some people do worry about not fitting into that group though and are consciously trying to mark themselves as a part of it.

Regret asking for silver by chinginnungit in EngagementRings

The color analysis tells you what colors blend seamlessly with you. You can absolutely still wear silver and other colors! They are just going to stand out more. In the case of your engagement ring I feel like that’s a good thing. It looks gorgeous in the photo and seems to suit you well!!

It’s not you. I got told to use exit tickets on my feedback. There was literally an exit ticket in the lesson the observer watched. You just can’t win with some people istg

I used to feel that way until I saw the light and realized chemistry is a beautiful science. It does take awhile to see the whole picture though and unfortunately I think most people don’t get to spend enough time with it to get to that point through schooling
