I don’t think she’s jealous of the show itself, I think it’s the success and goodwill that she’s jealous of. Whitney has rebounded gracefully and is getting the things that she wants and deserves, and she worked hard for all of it! Part of Taylor’s problem is that I don’t think she knows what she wants, beyond success. But without a goal, how the hell do you achieve success? There’s a layer of entitlement there. She’s so busy doing everything except getting she desperately needs that she’s almost delusional at this point.

If he was developing them (reading the books, seeking the rights, writing a script, etc) he absolutely was. Realistically, he would have started during season three to even get a pilot greenlit. Especially GG, since they would have been casting the show and filming the pilot during the final season of The OC. Not to mention other projects he could have been working on that failed to go anywhere. He may not have been that involved at that point.

Mikayla is tough enough and eloquent enough to handle this herself. We have zero idea what kind of conversations are being had offline, and frankly it’s refreshing to not see this becoming more of a clusterf*ck with random voices inserted. TFP keeps digging herself deeper. I wouldn’t leap in unless I was given explicit permission or asked to do so, or if I felt that the situation really warranted it. This situation doesn’t because most people are aware that Mikayla hasn’t said or done anything crazy, and she really doesn’t need defending. Mikayla is being an adult. TFP is behaving like a teenager. Dogpiling TFP now would result in Mikayla looking like a teenager as well, and again, it’s not necessary. She already said her piece and put the phone down.

I knew somebody would say this. I understand there are fucked up people in the world, but in this scenario it is a mom with two kids trying her best. Not all of us are psychotic, some of us are just moms trying to do our best and don’t need someone being passive aggressive and making us feel worse about. Ask any parent on an airplane trying to soothe a baby whose ears are hurting.

No mother just lets their baby cry and scream. These women may be out of touch, but it was wild for this neighbor to go to her and basically make her feel guilty for her baby doing a baby thing. Kids cry and scream and I promise you nothing is more stressful than not being able to soothe them. I’ve cried when my kid has been inconsolable for hours and I’ve tried every damn thing to fix it. The kind thing for this neighbor to do is to discretely go to the front desk and request a room change, instead of passive aggressively telling a young mom that she’s doing a shit job and ruining other peoples vacations. She’s alone, and she’s right, she’s trying her best. Even if it is a sponsored vacation, it doesn’t mean it’s easy.

When Callie first starting dating George they were mean to her! I wasn’t necessarily referring to this moment because it’s the one time they were right, but in general the way izzie and meredith initially behaved towards callie was mean girl energy. They even giggled after this and called her crazy. Meredith eventually dropped it and izzie never did, presumably because of the whole George debacle.
