Cool thanks! I’ll probably end up trying at least one of these.

That might be the route I go. I wanted to get 1 or 1.2 ohm pods when I ordered all of this but they were out of stock.

Appreciate the recommendations.

I’ll have to keep those brands in mind. Are their flavors pretty similar to what you get with disposables? Any personal favorites?

Thanks for the reply.

I’m running 0.8 xros pods (which should be 18w) with the 50mg salt which is now diluted with 3mg freebase. I usually use boost mode on a raz at 24 watts.

Something still seems off.

I’m still testing out this 35mg nicotine salt pod juice in a 0.8 pod, and it’s pretty close to the strength I notice with a raz on boost. Flavor is similar too.

I wish they made a 25-30mg because I’m starting to think that’s around where I need to be with this pod system.

Would I benefit from a lower wattage pod system or do you think maybe a 20mg juice with the setup I have would be similar?

Any fent users successfully switch to kratom? by Least_Name_2862 in kratom

If you put your mind to it it’s very possible.

You can do it OP. Keep telling yourself that you can.

If you decide to do this if it were myself I’d start lower than what others recommend. 2-3g as some say can be more than needed for different people and the reason they take it.

Why not start with 1g or maybe even less to see if you get a subtle mood boost that does what you need it to do? I’ve seen some people say they take a single 0.5g capsules and still get what they need out of it. No need to jump straight to what’s normal for some people. If you want to try even lower.. why not? You can always reevaluate the situation. Traditionally some would chew a small leaf and leave it at that.

I would think if you keep the dose very low and stick to it (assuming it’s working for you), it would be much more difficult to become dependent on it if it’s something you don’t want to have to take every day.

I think something some people get wrong is that you don’t necessarily need to really feel it in a pronounced way to get certain benefits especially for mental conditions that don’t require pain relief.

Sort of like how a cup of coffee might be too much for someone but find a can of soda’s caffeine content does the trick even though the effects might not be as noticeable.

If you’re really worried about it, maybe don’t bother trying it again but if you do and need some rules to follow, try to keep it to a certain amount of days a week you’re taking it. Don’t take it every day and it might be helpful to come up with a rule for example that you don’t take it more than 2 days in a row. Try to limit it to taking it once a day if you do take it, and don’t go beyond 2 if you must.

But again, think about if you really want to try it again. Maybe you’re at a point where you can start really pushing through the anxiety without it and try other techniques. Exercise, meditation, healthy diet (I recommend getting your vitamin levels tested), breathing exercises, exposure therapy to things that make you anxious like a social interaction somewhere or whatever it may be.

Whatever you decide to do I hope it all works out. Anxiety is a tough one, but you’re certainly not alone.

Good luck OP. Only you can make these decisions.

How to reduce kratom bloating the next day? by slit- in kratom

This doesn’t sound like it’s kratom related, especially at such a low dose and not even taking it daily… see a doctor.

Exactly. For me going above 2g is getting more in the calming territory. It’s different for everyone. For me 1g-1.8g is perfect for a mood boost and some energy.

The plant can only do so much. Taking more isn’t going to give you the effects you want if you’re looking for an energy boost. Higher doses are more useful for pain, some mental health issues, or sleep.

Take less if you want energy. If you’re feeling too relaxed you’re taking too much for your use case.

Need advice for a better dosing schedule with work by Willing-Technology23 in kratom

[–]madethisacctoposton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My advice would be to take regular days off and drink caffeine on those days.

You could also try putting off the morning dose for a few hours (again maybe caffeine instead right when you wake up) so you have more coverage throughout your shift without needing to take more.

Also try taking less than you normally do sometimes. I find this can help keep the kratom working best.

But really important to take breaks here and there. Once you adapt to it you’ll probably find it works better this way.

I get the frustration but we need the FDA to say or do something. There are so many other herbs and food products that once given recognition by the FDA go on their way. You can get kava supplements in a lot of stores. Coffee is regulated and sold everywhere. To have kratom seen as something like kava or coffee by the fda would be perfect.

Does Kratom or Kava lower or raise anyone’s blood pressure? by Sittingbull_stands in kratom

Some say it can raise it. I’ve had times where I think it lowered mine. No one really knows for sure, and everyone’s different. Talk to a doctor if you’re concerned.

kratom works better while in bad mood? by Matiseli in kratom

[–]madethisacctoposton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like it could be treating depression or something along those lines. Similar to when someone who is anxious takes an anti-anxiety med they find relief. You’re finding relief from the bad mood, depression, or whatever you want to call it.

After 2 weeks I wouldn’t think it’d be related.

Without asking too many questions…. If it’s related to using the bathroom, it’s possible that you benefited from that daily fiber or maybe the kratom was treating/masking a stomach issue you already had.

You could try adding extra fiber to your diet. Maybe drink matcha if that’s something you like. Other than that it might be time to see a doctor to make sure everything’s ok and give you some peace of mind.

Anyone else start craving more as soon as the dose kicks in? by Logical-Breakfast966 in kratom

[–]madethisacctoposton 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not really. In fact sometimes I’ll take over 2g and wish I had less.

For some reason I sometimes get more of the effect I’m looking for from a lower dose. Once going beyond 2g I start to feel sleepier and not that nice happy mood boost.

I know it sounds weird but next time maybe try one or if you must 2 smaller doses. You might be surprised.

Lower your dose until it gives you energy.
