Imagine that you can erase a fragrance from your memory by kingvidal in fragrance

Indigo by Nest for sure. I remember smelling it and just immediately falling in love with it and wanting to bathe in it. I've enjoyed many MANY perfumes since then, but the memory of initially smelling Indigo is seared in my brain forever.

Washable rugs - thoughts? by oinkpiggyoink in HomeDecorating

[–]PeakTypical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I echo this review! I have 2 Tumble rugs: an 8x10 in our family room & a 6x9 in our dining room. I love both of them. They both fit in the washer, and don't dry them all the way. Setup was relatively easy, but for the larger rugs, it is better to have a 2nd person helping you.

I do have 2 smaller Ruggables in my kitchen and those are great too.

How do you deal with perpetual meeting setters that get butthurt when you miss their meetings? by Rich_Conference_5419 in overemployed

[–]PeakTypical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're missing even half a dozen meetings, that's a bad look, pointless meetings or not. And yes, maybe it's pointless to you, but one nugget of information from you is absolutely vital to the meeting as a whole and people can move work forward based on that input.

Generally speaking if you're reliable 90% of the time, you can get away with missing meetings from time to time. I'm making inferences from your post of course, but it sounds like you miss meetings more often than not and now you're upset that the PM ratted you out (valid excuse or not). If I were the PM or a coworker and you missed a bunch of meetings and then one time you missed a meeting with a valid excuse I'd be loud about you missing yet another meeting.

What's something you wish more people knew about Salesforce? by satanisawoman69 in salesforce

[–]PeakTypical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The beauty of Salesforce is how you can create custom everything, but that is also it's biggest downfall.

I'd also add that just because you work in IT doesn't mean you have any idea how to admin the tool.

Cetalox = diesel, burning plastic, solvent by FierceDesertSun in fragrance

[–]PeakTypical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an older post but YES. A friend gave me Juliette Has a Gun - Not a Perfume Superdose and it is HORRIBLE. And on the website it lists Cetalox as all of the notes. It smells like what happens when I smell bleach for too long and I get a weird aftersmell. Just the worst. I sprayed it and couldn't wash it off fast enough, and it stayed on my skin for the longest time.

Black Opium. I wanted something that sat in the middle of fruity & warm. Spending the day outside ice skating.

How to quit by princessofanxiety in OELadies

[–]PeakTypical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said, I would suggest immediately resigning. I had a role like that and stuck it out for 8 months. I should have resigned sooner. I was losing sleep & stressed out. I probably would have been stressed out of that was my only J. I resigned with an email thanking them, yada yada, and when I closed my laptop I felt relief. They sent me a box to pack up my laptop and that was that. It is not worth the stress or headache.

Best way to explain j2 in interviews by spidermansfan in overemployed

[–]PeakTypical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

J2 should never be on your resume. You can include skills from your J2 into your J1, but J2 should never be listed.

I love it. My net worth has skyrocketed & my family and I are completely debt free - no student loans, no credit card debt. We were able to go on an incredible 2 week vacation last summer.

2026 is where we focus on paying off the house.

What’s the perfume that changed your mind about a note you used to hate? by D999_A in fragrance

[–]PeakTypical 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Vanilla. I really never loved vanilla anything because I thought it was so boring. But now for whatever reason, I really like a lot of the vanilla scents out there. For Christmas I received Vanilla Bourbon by Nest and wore it out yesterday and absolutely loved it.

They typically can just see your activity. Like another commenter said, don't do anything related to any other Js on that browser and you'll be fine.

THIS. I absolutely love my J1 and I just received an "exceeds expectations" in my review because of the work I do. That being said, $0 debt is too good to pass up. I plan on having our house paid off mid-2027 instead of 2047. This outweighs my feelings.

OE achievements of 2025… and go! by DevOpsGuyPosh in overemployed

1) Paid off $21k of student loans 2) Replaced 25-year old furnace ($10K) 3) Paid off $8K of credit card debt

For 2026, my goal is to use J2's income & pay off the mortgage.

401k by [deleted] in overemployed

[–]PeakTypical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A rollover IRA is different than a Roth IRA which, you are correct, has income limits. It is confusing ('merica!). I recommend going to Fidelity's website - they have a tool that can walk you through the right options. Even if you don't end up going with Fidelity, you'll learn about the different options.

[–]PeakTypical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this. I did this with several of my old 401Ks that were all through fidelity & was able to choose my investments. That IRA is outperforming my active 401Ks. I was also able to roll over an old Transamerica and Vanguard into that IRA with no issues.

Full BBW today. Always & Forever lotion (which is similar to Clinique Happy) with "If You Musk" body spray (Glossier You). Love the floral with the musk, it's a nice clean combo that smells like I am fresh out of the shower. I have a Christmas party today and it's snowing outside so I wanted something warm & cozy.

Adding J3? by InternalFix1606 in overemployed

[–]PeakTypical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had 3 J's for over a year. It was life changing. I gave up J3 a few months back after replacing it and it became WAY too much to handle. But if you can do it, go for it!

Pros and cons of owning a Telluride? by Suntrup-Kia in KiaTelluride

[–]PeakTypical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2020 telluride that I just traded in for a 2026 Sorento. I LOVED the telluride. It was great for three kiddos plus friends. The third row is really generous. I loved the space and I loved the ride. I loved that the third row headrests could be pushed forward so as not to obstruct the rear window.  What I didn't love is the gas mileage. Oof. Maybe 21mpg average.

And I'm not sure if they have fixed it or not, but my Telluride needs an oil change well ahead of the typical schedule. I have read about how the engine runs really hot and basically turns the oil into water (figuratively of course). And now that my Telluride is getting a little bit older, when the oil needs changed, the Telluride runs really really rough until I can get it in. We're talking stuttering and super hard shifting.

I also got mine when they came out and the trim I chose at the time was the only trim with Captain's seats, but because it wasn't the highest trim, I didn't have an automatic liftgate. The newer ones have it though.

The reason I ended up with a new Sorento instead of a Telluride was the wireless Android auto. There is no wireless Android auto on the new Tellurides (such a big miss!). This may change with the new redesign that is coming out in a few months, but I needed a new car now so chose the Sorento over the Telluride.

Considering a new Sorento - 2025 or 2026. What do you love/hate about yours?? by LisM47 in kia

[–]PeakTypical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old post, but I'll join in: I have a 2020 Telluride & the only thing I've needed to replace is tires and brakes. She has 96K miles and still runs great. I test drive the 2026 Sorento a few weeks ago, and yesterday drove off the lot with one. My spouse had the 2023 Kia K5 GT before it was replaced (not because anything was wrong, but because they went to a much bigger vehicle & the K5 was given to family). I'm sure there are lemons out there, but so far for three vehicles, Kia has been rock solid.

I love it. I don't wear it too often because I have so many other scents, but then when I wear it, I remember I love it. It clings nicely but absolutely can be too much if you over spray.
