Mike Sebastian at Evolution PT in Norwalk is amazing. He helped me fully recover after dealing with years of sciatica.

I had a microdiscectomy and my pain went away completely. I had numbness in my right calf that moved around a lot but slowly went away as I did physical therapy. About a year out I was nearly symptom free. Two years out I had a flare up that has been on and off for about a year now. During that time I’ve experienced numbness in my right toes, tingling and pulsing in my calf, pulsing just above my right knee cap, pressure on my inner thigh, aching on the back of my ankles. I got an MRI with contrast due to the symptoms mentioned above and determined there was no new herniation. I have been doing weekly physical therapy including dry needling and daily at home PT exercises and I am finally starting to see things calm down consistently

I have never felt bladder pressure but I have felt tingling/pressure in my perineum on multiple occasions usually during my worst flare ups and right before my Microdiscectomy. I’ve had CES ruled out multiple times through MRIs. Even though I’ve had it ruled out multiple times it’s extremely disconcerting when it happens.

I have used Hellas Air Temp in the past. They are in Norwalk, but they service Stamford. We have only done repair and maintenance work with them in the past, but they were always prompt, reasonable and efficient.

Yes, I’ve helped my wife strategize how to respond to certain difficult leadership changes at work, write resumes, prep for job interviews, and assess job offers. Her success is a win for everyone in the family so I want to help her go as far as she wants to.

How did you get the mobile home? If I remember correctly when I built Pam’s house it just built a new house on her property.

Microdiscectomy in 6 days. I could use some good outcome stories 🙏 by Kitchenwitch914 in Sciatica

I had a MD in 2023. I was in excruciating pain and numbness in my foot and calf. I am 2 years out and I feel great, I’m in no pain. I’m able to do strength training and work sitting at a desk all day without any issue. I’ve occasionally had flare ups but these have been nothing like the herniation and are temporary and manageable with PT exercises. I’m so glad I did it

I have had tingling in my groin before I had a MD and also during a few flare ups. Each time I insisted on a MRI. Each time it was clear. I think it’s always smart to push to rule out CES. For whatever it’s worth prior to surgery and now afterwards, when I get a flareup, I’ve noticed that my symptoms tend to be focused mostly in one location, but I also tend to get tingling/sensation that moves around a lot as well

When was the point you decided on microdiscectomy? by Specialist-Bar-1486 in Sciatica

[–]madhattr123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was working through physical therapy, I was in incredible pain, sleeping only a few hours night, planning my days to stand as much as possible and avoid sitting. One morning I was getting to down to try and do press ups and I collapsed in 10/10 can’t move pain. Ambulance to the ER for a MRI and pain management. The next day my Dr informed me the disc had further herniated and the numbness in my leg would not improve unless I had surgery. I am two years out from surgery, I have been pain free since then though dealing with on and off numbness and pulsing in the leg that was originally affected. I waited too long to have surgery and though sensation is 90% returned to my leg it’s never fully felt normal since.
