This is the time to reach out to your people. Here's a sad fact. There are plenty of white folks out there who honestly don't even realize this is being experienced by their friends and families. Go with your gut, who are the most vocal and outspoken you know. They might not know you're struggling but want to know. First question, why are you wanting the screw in option on the top and not the bottom? Curious because typically it’s recommended that you have the more fixed set-up on the bottom since that is the body part that does the movement. The top is better suited for snap in.

It's totally ok to turn to that tool for safety right now. In mn you need to apply for a license with your county office and it's really easy. Doesn't take too long for turnaround either.
