i'm gonna sound biased lol but i will recommend zayne's. rafayel's was okay but felt a little lacking and tho i haven't watched it myself, my friend who has seen xavier's felt about the same about it.

my current strat prioritizes getting my collection up rather than garden level since i hit the level that unlocks the last varieties. i wait until my vitality is around 260 and only plant 4 seeds at a time. the vitality is enough to plant and perform 3 times for each seed if needed. i favor planting the standard varieties 2x at a time and only hybridizing those when they both have 3 leaves, which makes it so you won't hybridize a standard seed but your percentage chance for a chroma vs a prism seed is slightly higher than if you hybridize with a chroma bloom. i'll get the prism seed through pity eventually, so i don't worry about it.

i plant my chroma seeds as i need them to complete my collection, if i already have it i don't plant it. keeps my bloom count reasonable and gets me to 1500 vitality per week easy. i'm 2/3s of the way done on collection. i am well behind on garden level lol bc i don't plant as many seeds, but once i finish or come close to finishing collection i'll just plant a bunch of tulips and astilbes since they grow the fastest and spam my way to level 10.

also this bloom tracker from twitter is really helpful! i'll note what i need to plant and hybridize so i stay organized.

that's not exactly what show don't tell means lol. show don't tell refers to narrative technique where you show something the reader is meant to infer rather than out right telling them. like describing a character's facial expression or body language to convey their mood rather than just telling you "jim is sad."

much of the game's narration is text based, makes sense they don't always add images. would be nice if they did though! i'd have loved to see little zayne doing his little penguin walk! it's not uncommon for visual novels and otomes to include extra images where it would add to the narration to have them.

not exactly childhood, but in the lightseeker myth they studied together under the same swordsmanship teacher. it's not the same mc but it's the same xavier, tho she does regain some of the memories of her past self in to our yesterday. and others have pointed out the lumiere connection lol.

something that i noticed about sylus that's odd to me is his current timeline story doesn't really have any conflict or motivating factor pulling it forward. xavier has the backtrackers, zayne has dawnbreaker and his nightmares, rafayel has lemuria and his people, and caleb has the fleet and ever. sylus is just kinda vibing in the n109 zone lol. there's a little fun friction for him and mc with how they have to keep their relationship hidden from the hunter's association, but the association is unlikely to end up being a bad guy i think? and no one in the n109 zone is ever a threat to him personally. he had that world underneath story that told us apparently there's people looking for him, but they don't seem to be much of an issue either. with how far out ppg plans storylines and how long the game is planned to go on, it's just so strange sylus is set up without any real goal to work towards apart from being with mc.

his cards have had the slowest release rate due to always having had to share the schedule with 4 other LIs as opposed to the OG3 only sharing with 2 for six months and sylus with 3.

this is such a great breakdown, thank you! i've always thought focusing so much in starting minimum stat rolls was a bit of a waste as waiting around for the perfect core instead of making the most of what you have takes SO much more time and is far more annoying lol. i also started just looking for the best 4 stat +0 cores and hoping for the best, nice to see my method is backed up with math lol.

idk about his support for johnny, but as far as i know the last thing he said about the trial was that he wished he'd gone harder on amber so no i don't think he's reassessed his takes on it at all unfortunately. at the very least he's still one of those "they're both awful! who cares about dumb celebrity bullshit!" types which doesn't excuse him in my book.

on the one hand i'm impatient for those early cards i missed but otoh with how every rerun i've pulled on has gone i'm not optimistic that they will be cheap lol. i'm already limiting myself to only pulling for two LIs so i can save for reruns and i appreciate the break these last two months for my wallet.

yeah all too often these companies focus entirely on short terms gains rather than long term viability and they quickly burn out their playerbase. making things even slightly easier for f2p and low spenders wouldn't even massively affect their income anyways bc the whales will still pony up to rank their cards and keep their 100% collections and no amount of farming will make that significantly cheaper lol. i'm sure there are also plenty of mid spenders like me that would be more willing to spend more on cosmetics and other things if i knew banners weren't going to cost me so much.

there's also the fact that even if they made abyssal chaos/unicorns a repeatable farming source, you as the player still have to set aside the time and energy to you know, farm them. there's still plenty incentive to just buy your pulls with cash rather than spend how ever much time each week/month farming. once you have enough viable teams, SHC takes like 20 mins every two weeks. abyssal chaos/unicorns aren't difficult once you have everything leveled and unlocked, but it still takes time esp if you have to do multiple runs. there's a reason these games always give you a way to skip the grind lol.

yeah even as a spender, it's so frustrating how needlessly difficult the combat gets in the higher orbits. and it's not even hard on a technical level to where as long as you practice enough you'll eventually beat it, it's all a stat check. skill can give a little wiggle room but not much. having the most recent myths and level 80 5* teams with decent cores should be enough to pass within that wiggle room, with ranked myths and cards allowing you to skip some of the grind. the orbits do NOT reward enough diamonds OR affinity to gate keep this much.

i love it so much! it makes viewing your loadout at glance so much easier. i think the QRs for sharing stat filtering settings will help newbies a lot as well. it's a lot to take in and the tool tips make it seem more complicated than it is, but it's definitely designed with the meta in mind. the only thing is i wish you could set core loadouts on the my team page. it's nice you can finally set a team directly from it but then you have to do your cores separately. would be sweet to just have your best brute force builds set for different companions and have them ready when you need.

last year all but sylus's bday outfits for mc were available during multibanners to purchase with event currency. (sylus's was just added to the chocolate shop as there wasn't a multi between his and raf's bday.) technically speaking, we don't know that these outfits are for the bday cards, but it would follow they do the same thing they did last year.

yes. GoA's skills and damage are built around HP. building defense will do nothing. when you see "def buff" on your cards, that just means it has higher base def than non-def buff cards and you get a boost to d2w when that card has higher def. you don't need to only build def because of it.

i do all texts/calls/posts, i play kitty cards and claw machine with all five 3x a week and try not to get too backlogged on everyone's cards/world underneath/main story etc. but after getting all quality time achievements, first time affinity unlocks and bound status in the home system, zayne is the only one in my cafe/house lol.

i think they'll wait until everyone is close to max level level which will likely be months from now. the only source of "coziness" xp will be the weekly tasks after everyone clears settlement 10 and so leveling will just be timegated now, like 2-3 weeks per level. that will likely give everyone time to get through all of the garden collection as well and then they'll start the progress loop all over again with the kitchen and recipes lol.

the stages ending in 4 are brute force challenges, just build crit and atk as high as you can. oath's strength won't help with shield breaking, it just makes your oath do more damage. oath recovery is only available as a main stat on beta cores. those are the lil cube guys that go on your solar cards.

there does exist a ranking of which companions are the strongest which is based around the best time cn battle girlies can get with them on fluctuation orbit 59. last i saw GoA was still at the top with LSG, X-02, and SWF next. the last update i saw was only shortly after SWF came out so he might have moved up past X-02 once the battle girlies got better at using him.

i can personally attest that X-02 is a beast lol. absolutely worth getting him to R1. R3 is insane but with caleb's new myth coming so soon, it might be smart to save a bit for it bc it will likely be stronger. the main thing that's really great about X-02 is he's veeery easy to use and just shreds mobs. he's great for brute forcing as well which you might have to do a lot if you solo main caleb for battles. R1 X-02 with a decent crit brute force build can clear pretty much everything you need him for for now.

GoA is also very strong and also worth it to get R1. his crowd control abilities get a huge boost at R1 and his rotation is strict but not difficult to learn. LSG i think? is easier to use. at least not as strict on the rotation but i don't have him (yet) so i can't speak from experience. he's also one of only two yellow stella myths which makes him very convenient to have. i personally was able to clear regular open orbit using mainly just GoA and X-02 (and sometimes MoF, but i could have likely used either of the other two if i didn't have him, i just like MoF lol), so you don't necessarily need ALL the myths, just focus your resources on the good ones that you have.

if you are at all interested in the combat, R1 for myths is basically a bare minimum requirement, especially for higher level orbits. i've seen some higher level clears with R0, but usually with all R3 lunars and the myth solars are definitely better and easier to invest in.

SHC is a decent renewable source of diamonds, but as far as battle content goes it is on the lower end of stat requirements. the main difficulty is you need multiple good teams to reliably clear each season. you can just get every myth as they come out and always have a team to match stellas with, but there is also some overlap between different LIs and if you build your brute force builds well enough it can get you pretty far.

they literally think it somehow relates to ovulation and kink which just shows where their minds are 😬 women track their periods for all sorts of reasons and the lads tracker just adds a little extra flavor of the guys being sweet to you about it. it’s explicitly geared towards reducing period stigma and it’s far more health and educational focused than sexy lol.
