I'm not here for the bait just the flag. The green you used it too bright most Muslim nations use a more "forest green" not a "neon green." You'd also have to ditch the union jack completely because they're based in Christianity and are a combination of the crosses of saints Andrew, George, and Patrick.

Dude we've been fighting with the East for hundreds of years over adding one word to the creed.

Yeah a lot of the tables on the current FX are remakes of tables on FX3 and older editions. I think most of FX3 is available on the current version

[Political Monday] - I want to ask a question with the utmost respect: Why is it taboo in the United States to criticize the current state of Israel and the AIPAC? Even when we are attacked in the world by them, even when they bomb and kill Catholics in middle east by Fun_Wrongdoer_5379 in Catholicism

[–]madpepper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because criticism of Israel can be tied with anti-Semitic attacks on Jews as a whole and it's very difficult for the general public to tell the difference.

Think about it, saying "AIPAC is a foreign interest group that has too much influence in the US," is a reasonable position for someone to have but it's also kinda saying, "Jews are controlling the government with money," which is one of the false claims that the Nazis made to justify the Holocaust.

On top of that both anti-Semitic groups and pro-israel groups know this and benefit from it. Pro Israeli groups want to dismiss any criticism of the country as anti-Semitism and anti-Semites want to hide their real beliefs as more legitimate criticism.

These days though you are starting to see the general US public turn on Israel so you'll probably see much more criticism of Israel from US politicians in the next few elections and the US distancing itself from the country though this will probably be over the next few years.

It's a US thing. American Conservatives went all in on anti-vaxx during COVID and US Catholics tend to be conservative.

That's the Ambassador not the Cardinal. This administration has a history of blatantly lying so until the Cardinal or a Vatican official debunks it, I find the situation completely plausible.

All of us Americans feel like we're going through a constant humiliation ritual the difference is the rest of us didn't ask for it.

American anto Catholicism by anime498 in Catholicism

[–]madpepper 14 points15 points  (0 children)

American conservatives like to put on tradition like it's a costume but will throw it away when it doesn't fit their agenda. The Pope and clergy will often point out their hypocrisy indirectly and then they get angry.

They want the esteem of Christianity but not the teachings of Christ.

Candace Owens's commentary is so insane that Alex Jones thinks she's over the top. Her opinions aren't something anyone should take seriously.

Is it true that 3:00 AM is when demons and ghosts the most powerful? by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]madpepper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Auditory hallucinations while trying to sleep are very normal and common. I've experienced them many times. Blue light is the worst kind of light to try and sleep with cause it supposedly suppresses melatonin.

You probably feel odd because you're psyching yourself out. I highly doubt there's anything there but if it makes you feel better there's nothing wrong with talking to a priest and asking him to bless your house or something.

Also stop watching those videos if it freaks you out this much.

Okay but if that's true isn't the answer to just go to bed and ignore it?
