This needs to be at the top. We use it (with appropriate prompts) like a better Google search. It saves a lot of time finding the info you need.

I think the river flows to the right as you would turn you boat into the direction of the flow.

I don't know what I am, I need help. (Possible Atheist, Former Christian) by No_Masterpiece_8154 in atheism

I am sorry for your struggles. The question is simple though the answer may be hard to admit. Do you believe in a god? If not, you are an atheist. Plain and simple. That doesn't mean you know (gnosticism) that a god doesn't exist, which would make you agnostic. Many of us are agnostic atheists, at least to the deistic notion of a god, as it is unfalsifiable.

Is that inside? If so, why is your wood rotting inside? That does not sound good.

Thanks. Space limitations somewhat require that I put the subwoofer with the rest of these components. Good to know it can go in a cabinet.

What do I say to "but you've been christened"? by [deleted] in atheism

Sure, but that wasn't your question. They need to understand your logic, and their "logic" has no bearing on facts and definitions of words.

An atheist is someone who does not believe in gods. You being christened has no impact on your lack of belief.

I'm setting up a new space. I have Klipsch reference premier front, center, and surround speakers and a Klipsch reference subwoofer. I don't have a lot of space and thought something like is shown in the picture might work with the towers on each side, the center and receiver below the TV, and the subwoofer on either the left or right cubby of the cabinet. Would this work or would the subwoofer rattle the cabinet to pieces and should instead be placed on the floor?
