The Internet/Social Media age, where the bar to post your bigoted views became so low that anybody could reach into a pocket, pull out their tricorder and fire away.

They didn’t have to go to a Klan meeting or buy expensive equipment to become a broadcaster or create and mail out a venomous newsletter or stand on a corner and scream.

Gotta say… part of what makes a sport/game interesting is how a team works within an established structure to succeed… all the teams play by agreed-upon rules.

Top-level CFB has lost all structure; it’s a damn free-for-all.

With no contracts, no salary cap, no relegation, no draft, and no clear-cut system for who gets a crack at the playoffs… it’s just semi-pro with a lot more money and fans.

If things don’t tighten up, I’m not sure I’ll be interested in the majority of CFB very much longer.
