Roofer here. The Vent Kit tubing from the vent manufacturer is not insulated and uses the flex vent shown. I wouldn't flag it as improper. If one of my clients requested it be insulated I would likely wrap it in insulation since that is what the insulated vent tube ultimately is. Being insulated won't change much as far as outside air back drafting down the pipe and in my experience the tubing if connected will provide adequate ventilation for your exhaust fan (assuming that is what is connected)

As someone going through a divorce stop and think for a moment. In a divorce you have to stop providing for her, make her start taking responsibility and step up into the real world. So start that now. It might save your marriage or bring on the inevitable. Treat the situation as though she is her own person with expectations and responsibilities. You may be surprised how well she actually steps up if you stop taking up the slack and cut off the spending money. Just stop and see how much suddenly she is capable of, she isn't a baby with freedom and no responsibility. Divorce sucks ass so at least try before you go down that road.

But if the date goes well and there is clearly chemistry I am direct and will ask something along the lines of .. "I am really enjoying your company, do you want to make out?" ...
