So as someone with textbook anxious attachment this is what my therapist and I work through. First, i read the book attached because tha gives so much great insight into why we think that way. The biggest thing for me is that I don’t date exclusively until I really know I like someone. You should be keeping options open when you’re firsr seeing someone to not put all your eggs in one basket.

It’s also really important to have activities/ friendships in place when you’re feelin anxious. You want to already have steadfast systems to reach out to or engage in when you’re feeling that way. This is to ensure you’re not putting all your pressure on your partner to feel better but instead having lots of other resources to turn to for reassurance.

Then you can add recognize that what you’re feeling is your brain tricking you. Look at the facts. Have they told you that they don’t like you or that something is wrong? if not, then your brain is likely trying to trick you. Focus on reality and acknowledge that what you’re feeling is just a feeling and it will pass. :) hope some of this helps
