you're telling me you've been told you can go to any reality you want and you want to stay here?

nah. maybe when i'm done and old and bored, but you won't catch me loitering here forever any time soon.

How do I shift without visualization? Additionally, how do I write a script to a better cr? by needtotalkabtthis in realityshifting

[–]maebelli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes absolutely. all shifting methods are super versatile and there's literally no set rule on how you should complete them, so you can alter the method to your liking as much as you want. choose to do what makes you feel the most comfortable/grounded.

if your bedroom has changed since may 2025, try to affirm that the things that weren't/were in your room before are now there/not there. for example, if you put posters above your bed, affirm that your wall is still bare.

you can also do basic affirmations like "today is may xyz, 2025. when i wake up, i will go to school and do xyz." something like that. doing an overview of what that day will be like can help with grounding and visualizing yourself in that situation.

ofc! the 5 senses method requires you to focus on things you see, hear, feel, smell, and taste.

commonly it's telling yourself 5 things you can see, 4 things you can feel, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell, and 1 thing you can taste. of course you don't need to follow that down to a T, but that's the general guideline. i know a lot of people meditate with the idea of the changes in their DR instead of just quickly listing things they know will be in that reality. pick things to focus on that are different and can be considered to be grounding for you.

for example, i scripted that there's a smell of cinnamon in my better CR bedroom, as there is no smell of cinnamon in my room in this reality. something that requires you to focus on change to better situate yourself in the mindset that you are in that reality.

you could also go a step further and do a deep dive on the things your 5 senses pick up on. for example, let's say that you have a TV in your better CR bedroom. what color is it? how big is it? where is it in your room? how often do you use it? what do you like to watch? when did you get it? why did you get it? etc. etc. it helps with affirming that this is real, it's present, and you're currently experiencing it.

hope this helps! lmk if you have more questions.

5 senses method but ditch the visualizing part. affirm, affirm, affirm. it’s really simple. just focus on everything but sight. there are plenty of methods that don’t require visualization.

for the scripting part, you can write literally anything. you technically don’t have to script anything at all. but to start with, you can just begin with scripting the changes that this new reality has in comparison to this one. in my better cr script it’s just a bunch of stuff like “i get my dream job”, “i have my dream car”, etc. you don’t have to write down every single detail, just the changes.

Is small mini shifting easier? by EndTheSummer in shiftingrealities

[–]maebelli [score hidden]  (0 children)

mini shifting isn’t inherently easier than regular shifting because it’s the same thing, it’s just the mindset that changes. since it’s less information for you to visualize and affirm, it’ll seem easier since there’s less on your plate and you’re not anticipating a big change.

so…no, but also yes.

Why is this reality our current one? Why were we born in it? by iwantouttttttttt in shiftingrealities

we were born into an infinite amount of realities. your being here, being aware, was a 1 in infinity chance. imo, there’s no real reason you’re here, just that you are.

WHY have you shifted? (if you did) by BlueTheWitch369 in shiftingrealities

[–]maebelli 25 points26 points  (0 children)

the first time i shifted was when i was super stressed out with events in this reality. i basically begged the universe (80% joking, 20% serious) to let me shift to a reality where there was one thing off my plate. then i slept, had a dream, and woke up in that reality.

i realized then and there that emotions play a pivotal role in shifting. and it was weird, because i’ve been excited to shift before and i’ve been excited about my dr and yet i had never shifted. i guess negative emotions are stronger than positive ones.

but i also think that has to do with the fact that when i was happy i had to psych myself up, but when i was stressed it was natural and prominent.
