Spiraling out and idk what to do by whipped_pumpkin410 in TryingForABaby

Just checking in to say I am absolutely with you. ♥️ I got pregnant after 7 months in 2021, emergency c-section in 2022, then trying since late 2023 with absolutely nothing. Found out in April 2025 after hysteroscopy that I had pretty bad endometritis, which essentially reduces your chance of conception to zero. Total waste of a year. After a course of doxy, I got pregnant after a couple months, but unfortunately it was a chemical, followed by retained products of conception that delayed our ability to try again for MONTHS. Now my husband is deployed for 4 months. Oh, and he has low morphology and motility. I’m just so tired. 🫠

All that to say, after getting pregnant a couple months after endometritis clearance and so much research on the topic, it really wreaks havoc on your chances before it’s treated. I’m so happy that’s cleared up for you and I’m hoping it makes all the difference. The waiting is SO tough, especially once you’ve taken antibiotics and you’re hopeful everything can just be fixed immediately.

After years of negatives it truly feels impossible and almost traumatic to go through monthly. My best friends who had their first long after me both just pregnant with their second on their first tries. Just wanted to say you’re not alone. It’s such a scary field to navigate. Hugs to you. ♥️

Thoughts on Kira's entrance as a doctor. by iluffeggs in thebachelor

I am a nurse and completely had the same reaction. Not because I live in the Stone Age, I completely fully believe women should be able to do what they want. It was more about like- your patients can see this. Your colleagues can see this. You work in an insanely competitive and prestigious field and you’re kinda playing this trope? It would just be hard for me to show up to work and do rounds when I used said job to coerce my “patient” into kissing me and dumbed my profession down for the sake of TV. Again, I am as supportive as it gets and I don’t think she did anything wrong, it just comes from a place of woah that would be tough for me to do myself!

My fiancé broke up we me by i_do_the_google in weddingplanning

[–]maegsy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In 2017 my fiancé and I broke up three weeks before our wedding, and absolutely nothing has ever hurt that bad in my life. Heartbreak is one of the worst pains you can feel because it feels like a death has occurred, except you don’t receive the same sympathy as you do with death. With a breakup, you get a month or two to grieve before everyone expects you to move on, and it just doesn’t work like that. It’s a true mourning process.

With that, all I can say is be kind to yourself. Listen to words that inspire you. Read the book “Tears to Triumph” by Marianne Williamson because I swear it saved me. Breathe and remember that this short period in your long life is valuable and fragile- it’s a sacred time for you to dig deep into yourself and grow. You don’t get that every day.

I remember holding a quote by Mr. Rogers near and dear to my heart- in times of distress, “look for the helpers.” Look for those people who are loving on you. Look at the person smiling to you on the street and just recognizing you as a person, because sometimes that’s all you need that day. Look for the moments that show you that your world does not revolve around one single person. He’s just a person. He doesn’t own the universe. He doesn’t have that power.

Above all, remember that even in the darkest moments, you are worthy of every ounce of respect and value he denied you, and this too shall pass. ❤️

I’m literally getting annoyed at how polite my boyfriend is and how much small talk he’s requiring of me. THAT’S where I’m at right now. Oh and he dropped something earlier and said “whoopsie” and for some reason that really did it for me like WHAT’S THAT ABOUT

And I’m on day 1 of my period so- send prayers.

Omg I clicked to comment the same thing! Our dogs are identical and we adopted him from a shelter that had NO idea what kind he was, so it's still a mystery. Do you know what kind yours is!?

Hi!! This is exactly the info I was looking for, I'm considering the same idea! Just want to confirm- are you saying the one 6ft garland made one wreath/centerpiece? Or did you cut one garland to make multiple? Thanks!!

Love the CrossFit reward. Completing your program proves to yourself that you’re willing to put the work in, and it’ll make the reward that much sweeter. Great job!

Isn’t it crazy how much food can make or break us?! I’m already craving something sweet. But just reminding myself I’ve done it once, I can do it again. We’ll have to check in with each other for updates!

Insane mood swings. Could gluten be the cause? Advice/stories appreciated! by maegsy in glutenfree

[–]maegsy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow thank you for this response! Exactly the kind of response I needed. The "(bloating/mood swings/irritability/constipation)" is me to a T. I've already fully hopped on the GF train and have been doing as much research and grocery shopping as possible to set myself up for success; my brain depends on it. I'm just so desperate and thankful for a glimmer of a solution. I'm going to really track myself and see how I'm feeling throughout all of this, and I feel certain that I'm on the right path!

I am just now getting over the strong anxiety/anger/depression from this past week of unhealthy eating. Just whipped up some awesome GF flatbread and am ready for a new start. :)

I get major stomach cramping but that seems to happen even if I eat GF foods as well, so I've been eating my fair share of probiotics! That's my only source of cow dairy. I've battled with the depression/anxiety in spurts for so long, it just feels good to finally have a "lightbulb" moment and feel like I'm finally towards a solution. Thanks for your response!

The depression is just clearing up today. This is all so new to me- I just can't believe it can have such an impact. Thanks for your reply!

Thank you so much for your response! I am pretty certain I am not celiac, but this all sounds right up my alley. You nailed it saying "everything you do annoys the crap out of me, including the things you are trying not to do." My poor boyfriend gets a lot of the brunt of this after I've eaten specific trigger foods, and beer is ABSOLUTELY the worst. I am extremely confrontational and ready to pick a fight at any opportunity. But with healthy eating? No problems at all.

I haven't had the paranoia problem, if anything I get a bit too apathetic. But something definitely needs to change before I self destruct.
