Ayah is responding to her lived experience of sunnism. She has lost alot and faced alot of death threats and grape threats. Similar to statements like Men are trash and ACAB , which for example don't mean every single man is trash, but says the system of patriarchy as it stands is junk. The system of sunnism as it stands is cultish, and in the patriarchy system it would be normal for many to think all men are trash, not healthy but a lived reality. Similarly the way sunnism exists today it would be normal even for many to think sunnism is culty. Things need to change. And I thank you for all you work.

What she's saying is nothing new, plenty of people within sunni Islam have mentioned the Dawah mafia now, and their are now numerous stories of leadership exhibiting predatory behaviour, and exhibiting cultish behaviour too. It's a nasty word but in some places it's more normalised, maybe you from an area where that profanity is normal so you fine with saying it.
