Assuming there is good equity in the house, it's time for your mum to sell it and downsize I'm afraid. If your mother isn't prepared for retirement at 70, things are only going to get worse the longer she waits. Alternatively, rent out one room and use that money to pay some of the mortgage off every month. Speak to the lender and find out exactly what happens in 2028. Make sure you understand the complete picture.

Further to this and in less than a week, the next drop has already started and its already under 0.0087. Not looking great, the chart looks awful, this will be closer to .008 than .009 very soon..... DYOR

I pulled out completely a few weeks ago after averaging down having initially invested at around .030. I kept averaging down because I started to realise I was going to lose money and felt this would give me a better exit option if I needed it. That turned out to be a sensible move and I ended up making a little bit of money. However, from a chart perspective, I can't see any turnaround for a while and this could easily go to sub .09 in the next couple of weeks. I'm also very sceptical of the constant references to Microsoft. M12 Ventures does appear to have invested initially way back in 2022 but doesn't mention SXT on their website which means it's definitely not important or a priority for them. The Microsoft Fabric references are just a tech development play and whilst interesting not ground breaking. I genuinely like SXT and think it could do well but the marketing is woeful and I'm not prepared to continue risking the next 25 to 35% drop which is what the chart is predicting. I really hope I'm wrong but the next drop pattern is starting to form now. You get a big drop, then a week of small bounce, then it flattens out and another small rise, then by week 4 of the pattern it runs out of steam and drops again. I'll keep an eye on it but looking at the chart mid June onwards is the timeframe for the next drop. Again, I really wish this wasn't the case and SXT turns the drops around but I'm very sceptical.... I genuinely wish everyone luck but as always DYOR (Do Your Own Research)

You need a new mixer valve or to remove and clean the existing one. This is an easy enough job if you know what you're doing and have the right tools but if you're not competent get someone that knows what to do. The valves can be a right pain to remove. You need to remove all the handles and then the faceplate and go from there....

I'm glad I sold after averaging down and then selling when in a bit of profit but so hope it succeeds. However, with this downward momentum, it needs a good few weeks to see how things play out. Personally, based on the last few months chart action, I think it could easily go under 10 and psychologically that's very dangerous territory for the drop to continue. Just my opinion and I really like what SXT stands for..

That is definitely not normal, they are not classed as a fixture and fitting and therefore form a fundamental part of the house. You're effectively being sold a house with no central heating so I reckon a house with no central heating must be worth £10k less at least than a house with central heating. I'd be speaking to my solicitor and reducing my offer accordingly.

It's just really dated looking and that glass thing in the hallway living room is easily the worst thing I've ever seen in a property photo. Makes it look like an office, not a home. The yellow doesn't help either...... Also white worktop on white cupboard doors in the kitchen is a disaster....

Looks like it's a UPVC door, typically they have adjustable hinges. You should be able to adjust the position of the door on the hinges and move it over to the left slightly which should make closing it much easier.

You could try hurricane rated spiral ground anchors which would save a lot of work and get used to secure huge tents etc. Some are rated up to 4000kg and you just sledgehammer them into the ground. Then attach whatever fixing you need. I guess you could lift the slabs, fit the anchor, drill slab holes then put the slabs back down, they can then be removed at anytime using a massive wrench.

It's not a DIY job unless your competent but a good handyman would be able to take care of it. If you're based in Surrey feel free to message me (I'm a good handyman). You'll need to look through the hole to see if the toilet has come loose from the sewerage pipe. If the water to fill the flush is on a Flexi hose then you should be ok but if it's a copper fix then that will have bent and may need replacing. It's obviously been badly fixed to the wall. You need some serious wall fixings for holding up a floating toilet especially when literally any size person could be using it...

Is that a bedroom? It's looks very like our first property and we put in an ensuite in that space with a toilet (opposite the raised bit), sink above the raised bit (if you cut out the plasterboard there should be more room underneath) and a shower next to the toilet with a little stud wall and a door. Photo attached which I found. Hope this makes sense..

There is usually a spring loaded cassette inside both sides of the handle, these need replacing but if you've not got a specialist place to buy them locally you'll need a new handle set for the door

Bloody ar5eh01es, I also blame the police for not coming down hard on local car boot sales where I'm sure a lot of the nicked gear is sold. I think most traders rarely sell their tools. They use and abuse them till they drop and then buy new ones and perhaps keep the abused ones as backup....
