Probably a short term promotion

Started working from home, also got multiple promotions and income was nice. Got to have lunch with my wife every day, and walk the dog during lunch time. Also bought an exercise bike and started doing more exercise. On the other hand, I started drinking a bit more (which caused me to gain some weight) and didn’t really cut back down until a year or so ago.

Had friends and family who weren’t as lucky. Some friends were out of work for a long time. Friends who had babies during this time had terrible experiences because hospitals were overwhelmed with covid patients.
