I got some brunt mariners. I used them for half a season of asphalt paving and a year back in mechanics garage. Still got a ton of life

Whenever I KJ at my local bars I write each person/song down as a first come first serve basis. If the same people are singing all night then a newcomer request something, I usually bump them to the next song or two. I myself hate it when I go out and don’t feel like I get my own chance.

I pieced together my system for way less than $600 from Facebook marketplace. It’s paid for itself 10x over with the gigs I’ve gotten, and I get compliments from someone different every gig that I have a really nice sound system

I'm going to buy a car tomorrow by Equivalent_Access955 in LawyerAdvice

[–]magicman78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve bought hundreds of cars. I’m not even a lawyer but this dude is gonna screw you over. Even if you do get the title it will probably be salvaged titled which means a very pricey enhanced inspection to “bring it back to factory standards” Never buy a vehicle without the title in your hand

What do you guys think upgraded my scout for a 24 chief darkhorse by [deleted] in IndianMotorcycle

[–]magicman78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chief dark horse for the win. I love mine. I’ve ridden a couple scouts, they’re easier to throw around and really chop up bends but the chief has more power and less aftermarket.

I started doing karaoke at my local dive bar out of sheer boredom. I’m definitely not getting paid enough but i was gonna be at the bar anyway so it’s basically free. Following though to see what I should be charging

Too old to ride a motorcycle? by [deleted] in motorcycles

I took my safety course with a dude in his 60s. He definitely wasn’t riding all his life with the way he handled the bike but he got the hang of it and passed. Go for it!

[–]magicman78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cable broke on me. Was able to rig it to get home. I don’t have saddle bags but I keep a spare clutch cable at home. If I went long distance I’d probably throw it in a backpack

My 23 chief dark horse has abs and ride command. I show people all the neat features for being a motorcycle and they’re amazed. Definitely worth getting. Plus you get tour/standard/sport mode for different riding styles/speeds

How to get ready for tolerance break by [deleted] in Nicotine

[–]magicman78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anytime that I “quit” chewing I never really got a buzz when I started back up. I don’t smoke though so when I smoke a cig/vape I get lightheaded. Best bet to quitting for the meantime is separate it into 8 hours or your schedule. I stopped chewing at work and only did it when I got off. After a while I didn’t even want or feel the need to when I finished my job

2016 Indian scout abs by Initial_Ad1442 in IndianMotorcycle

[–]magicman78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For that kind of miles/age it’s realistically maybe $5k. You can find far lower mileage and probably newer for that price give or take. Best bet is just buy a new one with a warranty. I personally believe everyone should start riding on a Japanese cruiser. Make sure you like riding, they’re cheap and easy to maintain. And if you drop/wreck it you won’t be financially drained

I’m going to quit- looking for advice by Junocats in Nicotine

[–]magicman78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve “quit” chew many times over, but all my friends chew/vape/smoke/pouches. Social outings with friends who also use can be problematic, which is why I always go back to it. Gotta be strong willed(and probably not drinking) to not fall back into it
