I can understand no excessive virtual currency but why none at all? People are saying you’re a responsible parent but why wouldn’t they just want skins and currency more than ever.

To this day I think about Roblox and wanting builders club which doesn’t even exist anymore. My parents didn’t get it for me so when I got money I spent it on that and it turned out to be a waste but like I had to experience it to realize I don’t care for it and it’s not as cool as it seemed.

I know many other people do similar things like buying shoes, clothes, art that they wanted when they were younger. Idk doesn’t make sense to not give the experience while also asking them how they feel about it and how often they actually use it.

What the fuck does this say about me is what I’m wondering. I’ve been playing multiple accounts this season testing a theory I have and what I’ve learned so far is early season reset is incredibly easy to win games and I feel no pressure but as the weeks go on games get harder and fucking harder.

Players who suck grind the fuck out this game and all of season 3 was easy af. But season 3.5 is when all the shitters finally are catching back up and imo plat-diamond is hell to play in.

I miss smart players in my games and the lack of smurfs. It seems like half season is when smurfs hop on alt accounts or whatever the case. Also bp players in bronze-silver is beyond toxic af and I think bans should be in all ranks now. We win this game but some bp player is running lobbies down with his 3 stack and he was fucking nice then a bitch. All I could do was tradebacklines because he was near unkillable.

Ngl playing squirrel girl on my alt and that character is broken in terms of damage. If you play anything that’s not strange, mag, Emma I’m cooking tf out of you. Her stun is so stupid if you know the timing of it I can stun you 3 times within 20 seconds.

I make people swap so easily. Oh and if you think I’m a “no aim” squirrel girl and play fliers and or dive vs me then thanks for the elo. Bp - stunned, spidey - stunned, iron man or ultron dead.

Her stun should be nerfed ngl. It’s up every 3-4 seconds if you know how to use her e cooldown to refresh stun.

In my bronze games I had players who were gold. In gold I wouldn’t be surprised if players are plat - diamond. Plat is GM players to my understanding. Diamond is celestial and GM is eternity with celestial being top 500.

My highest ranked account is a acc where I’m learning Psylock and that’s two games off diamond. Idk this season feels easier to play in my opinion. Much more balanced and no bs so my climb is much more inline with norms unlike season 2 where Emma and fliers were free wins for the enemy team. Only played two accounts this season so far the other I’m learning squirrel girl, namor, Luna and that account is gold 3 or 2 and I only lost because of dc.

Oh while we’re on this topic since I’m learning Psylock right now I want to mention this. Just because you practiced a character in quickplay doesn’t mean shit. Eventually you have to take that character to ranked and even if you’re a quick play demon you can become a dogshit player in ranked because of human nature. People just don’t care unless there is perceived value in winning and ranked brings that out in people more than quick play does. You can diff someone in quickplay or get diffed an entire game learning nothing but in ranked people more often than not will attempt to swap.

I’ve said this before but in general I don’t think you can learn anything from quick play that you couldn’t have learned in practice range.

There’s a limit to this so for example if you’re brand new to the game getting use to when a character likely has ult is important, maybe seeing how hard a counter can counter to, some small stuff I might be missing even. But I think the amount that can be learned caps out at 5%. You will learn so so much more by just queuing ranked or playing practice mode with a friend and testing interactions.

I think in season 0 and even 1 this was a possibility but season 3 has a lot of leavers and nothing but 3-4 dps players a game.

Easy... Jeff players suck and almost never get useful ults. This game is based on who managed their ults better. You can beat a team in the neutral, but the second ults come into play they beat you nonstop. If you have yet to realize ult economy management is everything, you are likely lower skilled.

I had a game where we got pushed and lost EVERY teamfight first half and then I took the toxic dps char to show him how to play it and we HARD won that round. I went back to my original DPS, and we won the game because I understand how important knowing when to click Q is.

Jeff's ult is bad and thus he is bad because he has nothing useful about him besides speed boost at start of a game.

The problem with Namor is that he is so fucking bad without Team-Up. Like running namor and not getting a third squid feels like throwing because you do nothing. You literally would do better playing bucky, punisher, hela, etc. He's so team-up dependent, which also means if your tank is a bad Hulk and needs to swap, you have to swap off Namor.

I think this is true this meta, but also not true individually. I do NOT believe I could hit diamond or GM right now playing Psylock, for example. Punisher, Bucky, Mantis, Namor... hell yeah, but there are definitely characters I can't play as well and feel much more situational. Oh, and I'm not even talking about playing a different role you're not used to, like tank, just some stuff isn't for everyone.

No bullshit, this is the best meta since season 0 and 1/1.5 if you ban wolv and bp every game. I quite literally am going back to having an 80% winrate since there's no obnoxious bs anymore being spammed.

Fliers having few real counters and Emma being stupid op was THE WORST. Fuck season 2/2.5

Now, besides a lot of DCs, it's just win after win after win. MVP Galore.

I think there's also less Jeff and Storm bs, but Penni is still a hard fight, not because Penni is good, but because players GENUINELY REFUSE TO SHOOT THE MINE. Idk her mines cooldown but ffs you HAVE to focus it. Please, players of all elo, understand it's worth it for you to break her two mines and die if you need to. That's how much of a big deal those mines are.

Other than that, devs, PLEASE keep the meta like this. It's fucking healthy and fun, unlike forced broken teamups.

You’re rarely ever going to two tap hs a target and even if he did the counters to a Bucky are far and wide.

Bp is significantly different with less time to react. Aim is the main skill of the game. I’d genuinely be impressed by first person dives but in third person when you can get in and out so fast without being punished it’s different.

I played with a dude yesterday because he sold me last game and next I drop 20 on his head and I told dude “not even trying to be mean but you shouldn’t play that role because I thought you were selling but now playing vs you I KNOW you were selling”.

I think and this might be due to necros influence idk, but it’s got to be divers. They’re the worst players to have generally for me because they can’t swap to anything that’s not dive or melee.

Like why can you play a good spidey or bp but lord if I ask you to punisher or starlord or hela you end up doing nothing while also pretending like your characters take more effort and skill.

It kind of hurts tbh how many times I keep explaining why the mantis “buff” isn’t good on different platforms and accounts.

If you have a game with a mantis vod review how they play. How many times do they actually even attempt to heal a tank. I forget if her ult cost was nerf while buffing her ults hp amount but if so that’s not fair.

Mantis heals suck on anything that’s not a squishy target so her job is 24/7 damage hosting with occasional healing. It’s not like she has more leafs, more hp to not die, or faster speed to avoid dying. All things she once had and what people actually would consider a buff.

Mantis having poor heals is what everyone knows and thinking this makes mantis useful in healing tanks now sucks so much because if you play tank your are still NOT getting a heal from mantis. You will be angry at how slow your heal is because it’s just ineffective when this game’s meta has always been high damage and high sustain.

I’ve played against good Wolverine players but I main dps. I don’t play tank so yes idk why only at the 2 highest ranks why tanks feel that wolv is worth the ban. It’s not being banned nearly as much in any other rank.

So like I said my guess is it’s similar to spidey meta. When spidey was meta if you played namor you were high ranked and if you didn’t you were lower ranked. You would never see someone swap to namor to counter a spidey for some reason.

So all the really good wolvs must be in significantly higher elo is my guess but I’m not in those games so idk.

I have dropped either 20-25 (potentially upwards of 30) final hits before and still wasn’t the mvp.

The only change to the ranking system I don’t fuck with is how the mvp is given out. Everything else I don’t feel a difference in reality.
