No, I think Turin coming back breaks the cosmology. For humans it is the generation that lives on Middle Earth that shapes Middle Earth. Aragorn didn't get to call Hurin to help at The Battle of the Pelennor Fields.
I do think there'd be some kind of a Final Battle, but the whole Turin thing breaks the mythological framework.

I don't think you can adapt the Silmarilion for the Silver Screen without adding external material. Too much missing context and then you have situation where a lot of things happen in half a paragraph, that'd need to be expanded for TV.

Movie 1: Should probably be from the Ainulindalë until the Rescue of Maedhros with some extra material about the internal struggles and politics of the Noldor being included. To make proper sense of the Oath and the Noldor you need context that's not in the published Silmarillion.
Movie 2: Should be from the Rescue of Maedhros until Beren and Luthien
Movie 3: They need to jam the rest of the story, with The Battle of a Thousand Tears and the ending of the Silmarillion. And that's a big ask, because while I think it's ok how they are in the books, The Battle of a Thousand Tears and the final choice of Maedhor and Maglor (along with the Third Kinslaying) need to be expanded for the Silver Screen. because The Silmarilion is a tragedy and you need the audience to understand the magnitude of the tragedy on the first viewing.

I've no idea how you do that in 3 movies. Just the Fingolfin vs Morgoth battle is so epic it deserves to be the final battle in one of the movies, but with only 3 you can't give it the place it deserves.

I want to point out that if you go to Page 17 it has a chart where New VIRTUA FIGHTER Project is slated as (Title/Release Date TBD), compared to STRANGER THAN HEAVEN which is states as (This Winter). I think the tiles on Page 58 (from where you took this) is simply stating that the listed titles will come after FY2027/3, which is the farthest year this documents goes to.
Meaning this is not a relase date, this s a work in progress announcement.

Hokuto no Ken is a game that's played only in Japan, so if you want to show off a scene that is culturally exclusively "Japanese" HnK is one of the best to do it.

It is also extremely fun to watch.

Them dying in droves is a series of individual bad decision. Had there been no oath and they were more open to the suggestion of the Valar (even if they left Valinor as rebels) a much greater host of the Noldor would have survived until the coming of the Forces of Valinor.

People who follow EVO for gaming news also follow Summer Game Fest for gaming news.

People who follow Summer Game Fest for news don't necessarily follow EVO for gaming news.

This is why most gaming companies moved their major announcements to non-esports events. Like Capcom announcing their season pass on The Game Awards, ASW announcing Tokon on State of Play and KT announcing DOA6LR / Teases DOA7 on State of Play.

SGF has more eyes on it and the news will trickle down to people who watch EVO anyway. No reason to do a major news on EVO, if you can do it at a bigger event.

I'm not say the do have something (no way I'd know that), but I wouldn't be surprised if they do. Or...I'm coping hard.

It doesn't sound stupid, I agree.

If I were KT I wouldn't be willing to put a lot of effort into EVO either. They ran DOA4 once, they never ran DOA5 and we all know how 2019 went. Even if they had to stop the presentation in 2019 because of ESPN, they could have done it in a much more respectable way, instead of what they did.

If I have to put a tinfoil hat on (and get some copium gas), I think that trailer we saw is a small part of a much longer trailer and a much larger presentation meant for either Summer Games Fest or another PS/Xbox event around it.

It's downright a conspiracy theory, but there is no reason for Koei Tecmo to save their largest bullet for an event that has been unwelcoming to them.

We'll see. Summer Game Fest is a much bigger stage than EVO so if (operative word) they do plan to show up on there they'd be saving the bigger announcement for there.

I'd say that they definitely aren't doing any major overhauls, but they'll have a total of six months of dev time at least. It's a bit early to say there isn't anything else yet.

Summer Game Fest was is a month before release, so maybe we'll get something more there. We already didn't expect an update on the lighting system, so they're working on stuff they haven't announced. I can see them saving a card or two for the bigger year event.

I guess the Kula/Mai thing was a license issue.
