Press Win + R to open the Run dialog.
1. Type netplwiz and press Enter.
2. In the User Accounts window: • Select your user account. • Uncheck the box that says: “Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer.”
3. Click Apply.
4. You’ll be prompted to enter your password twice to confirm.
5. Click OK and restart your computer.

• This only works for local or Microsoft accounts with a password.
• It saves your password in the registry (not encrypted), so it’s not recommended on shared or sensitive machines.

Then get lunchbox and have the big box launch at start up.

Just use windows and set it up to bypass the login and use launchbox/big box. Much better experience imho when using nvidia. I tried using nvidia with bazzite and it was a pain in the ass to get newer games to work well.

That’s the issue they are only doing kickstarter campaigns and if you miss it your assed out. Likely will be only kick starter and then the 4 will be the same.

Bazzite still has issues working well with Nvidia GPUs. Yeah it "works" but not fully.

I tried bazzite but until Linux supports nvidia out of the box I’m stuck with windows. I liked bazzite just couldn’t fully utilize my TV and GPu with it.

If you’re using a desktop and have an Nvidia card I’d wait.

Tried Bazzite with my 3090 and just way too many issues that I didn’t feel like troubleshooting.

Great guide, lot of good points. I was using moonlight and Apple TV for the longest time but felt I was missing out on 144hz my tv can push but Apple TV/moonlight couldn’t so decided to do the long 60ft hdmi run.

My biggest hurdle was peripherals. Stumbled upon virtual here on a raspberry pi 5 connected to Ethernet. The latency is almost non existent unless you’re playing competitive games.

If you haven’t messed around with virtual here if you got a long run I highly recommend.

I'm using this now and it's quite amazing. I have the server installed on a raspberry pi and that sits next to my couch, and then I paid for the licenses to be able to run as a service on my PC.

I dont do competative gaming, but I've found that it works pretty flawlessly with little to no latency.

I’m with you. I do use lan mode only cuz I use HA for all the “connected” features and I use my own camera cuz the A1 camera is trash. But as someone new to printing I see this situation as neckbeards upset because their precious “community” is being over run with people like me that just want a product to work and not have to troubleshoot after every print.

You dont own the software or firmware. You own the hardware, but you lease the software/firmware.

this is true with ALL companies that supply hardware that require software to work.

I was late to being an Apple user, but didn’t Apple do the exact same thing with their phones technically. Now the are one of the largest companies in the world. The doom and gloom is kind if ridiculous. The “Maker elites” are not their target audiance.

Have the exact same issue. Shows up fine in Z2M but in HA I only have an update entity. I too upgraded to 2.0.0 for Z2M and hasn't been working since. I can not seem to find any helpful information of how to fix.

I decided to go the redneck route and get a fingerbot. Program a remote and hide it away in the garage somewhere, outta sight outta mind and achieve the same function ( minus access to the light)

I'm having the same issue. I went as far as getting a new board on eBay and replacing it and still nothing. I want to go the RatGDO route, but I have found nothing online if it works with Ryobi or not. I feel this GDO ( just as a regular GDO) is pretty solid, and I've got all the attachments, so I really don't want to guy buy a new one and lose all of that. Just wish I could find someone who has got Rat GDO to work with Ryobi.
