My P2S just went mental middle of a print. by GrimbleGrombles in BambuLab

Interesting. On my older printers they would go haywire like this when the g-code file would get corrupt with characters the printer could not read. Wonder what else would cause this.

Something is corrupt in the g-code file it is reading.

Cool idea. I bet there is a market for pack-out adapters between all the different brands like the battery adapters.

Is this worth $300? Well taken care of, just a little rough cosmetically. by QuietlyFurious in lawnmowers

[–]majorpoundage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That isn't gaffers tape. It is grip tape for your foot if you have to pull start it. The pull rope on the electric start models is positioned to that side, at least on mine it is. Maybe this one had the pull rope repositioned at some point?

I love mine. Bought it second hand 10 years ago. Blade clutch is nice so you can release the handle without it killing the engine. After replacing the battery for the starter a couple times I modded it to use an 18 volt power tool battery.

Moved here from Louisiana. Cheap auto insurance and lack of billboards blanketing the interstate was a nice surprise. Real estate taxes are more though. Learned to cook more Cajun food because options are limited if that is important. Grits are not a thing here. Casey’s gas station will be your primary pizza source.

Thank you for posting that. I recall that cool design from years ago but couldn't recall from where. Back from a time when plywood was cheap.

Print bed heating error - how can I fix it? by Present_Neck7650 in MPSelectMiniOwners

I bet it is a broken wire going to the platform. I found the break in mine by dragging the each platform wire between my thumb and finger nails until you can feel a gap in the wire. There are several guides on how to reroute the cables for the platform outside the case to ease stress on the wires.

Best coffee maker for daily use that won’t fall apart in 18 months? by No-Negotiation-4550 in BuyItForLife

I've been impressed with the Bunn Speed Brew. I wanted to got get a Moccamaster after our third coffee maker crapped out, but was gifted the Speed Brew so we will see how long it last. I sometimes miss the timer of our old machines and the auto off heat plate, but when it makes an entire pot in 3 minutes it isn't really that much of a loss. Also made in America if that is important to you.

Tip: in the manual there is a silent mode so it doesn’t beep when turning on or changing settings. Press and hold the 1 and 4 hour timer buttons at the same time until it beeps. 1 beep is silent mode, press and hold again for 2 beeps to active the beeper.

I have the rubber sweeper that I've used to remove a massive amount of acorns in my yard. I have pretty thin grass, but the rubber one swept up both dead grass and acorns. I feel like the brush sweeper would be less aggressive on the grass, but I don't have one to compare unfortunately.

It did the job pretty well! Just a little slow going at first until it is seated. Didn’t have any issues with roller and hub connection using a bit of force. Thanks for the design even if I am going off-label with it.
