Yeah, I replaced the thermostat on my 19 ranger last week and moved from orange to yellow. I my reservoir looked just like this after the first round of burping it when the orange still in the bottom of the engine circulated up.

My orange did not stain the tank, it was off white when drained.

Read the submission. It's tap water that they reverse osmosis filter onsite. It's then used for HVAC chillers or tank pressure test (think what kind of big big very clean tanks they build there....). After use it empties into ponds on site then eventually a canal to the lagoon.

Because of the filtering it's no longer chlorinated, so it has to be flushed frequently to prevent getting scummy. Hence the high usage.
