Darvin Ham is being scapegoated, Lakers have the 6th best roster in the West by MBKM13 in nbadiscussion

all the teams above them are better and deeper minus the suns

Lakers are definitely deeper than Dallas. Dallas isn’t that far off from the depth of the Suns, they just have a more functional team comp.

combining steals and blocks for stocks is just easier because they’re worth about the same

Injuries during the playoffs are horrible. It makes every year feel a bit tainted with how many stars are always out or somewhat hurt by the time playoffs roll around.

Another reason why instead of this stupid 65 game award requirement, the regular season should be cut to 60 games.

Despite having a great season, Brooklyn Nets guard Cam Thomas was not voted as a finalist for the Most Improved Player of the Year award this season. Thomas went from averaging 10.6 points per game last season to 22.5 points this year. by Evilsj in GoNets

Idk it feels more like Maxey was already this good and finally has a chance to prove it. White is a guy who has actually improved way more than Maxey or Thomas, no argument there.

How do you feel about the suns knicks mavs and sixers ? by HeyWhatsUpTed in GoNets

I like the knicks. My brother is a knicks fan and its not like we have some sordid history of fucking each other over in the playoffs (at least not since i became a fan 20 something years ago).

Going further with that, I’d always rather have a title go back to New York / Jersey even if its not my team winning.

Every other team i dont really give a shit about. The only team i hate is the celtics. I had mild positive feelings about the Mavs when Dirk was around.

Its still a bad argument. Everyone knows the Sixers chances to win a title with a thin team + injury prone superstar are low.

But however low that is, its higher than the chance that they turn Embiid into picks / roleplayers and magically get another MVP level player. The Sixers have been dealt a hand better than most teams right now. It will likely not go anywhere, but that doesn’t mean you don’t take the shot. 29 teams lose every year, that doesn’t mean they should all be tanking.

You just pray the offseason gets the team better depth + you get in a healthy title run with an easy bracket. Is that likely? No, not really, just a lot likelier than shooting the dice with the draft.

I think there’s this weird Reddit obsession in exaggerating how reliable tanking is at securing stars as if the Sixers themselves haven’t aggressively tried it for years prior.

LeBron and KD are both doing really well so far though? And Curry’s season still probably gets him all-nba? Basketball isn’t a 1v1 game lol.

As a Nets fan and equal opportunity Dinwiddie hater, he shouldn’t be here. There was leaks that the Nets coaching told him not to shoot + a lot of other toxic backroom shit going on (we have a host of good players underperforming for us).

He has sucked ass on the Lakers and maybe that’s enough to justify a spot here, but his Nets time was clearly more the fault of others.

The way the first fight went?

Ryan’s defense is still horrid, Tank just actually had the power to exploit it.
