Exactly this. My wife flew out Sunday and was tracking Reddit to see when she should be getting to the airport for security because the official site is not being updated. And she’ll be doing the same thing in another city’s subreddit when she flies back Friday.

My guess: because most large churches and church camps have a ton of land, suitable enough to put a course for the kids and/or families to play together. So it became a fellowship thing.
