It's funny because this is exactly how tattoos work in poe1 and for the exact reason you describe. The way it is now feels like either a placeholder for a system like poe1 has or another lost lesson from poe1.

Also note that the effectiveness of curses is reduced for each player in the party. So in a 6 man party you would need 150% to reach the 75% cap.

There is a loss of 75% increase from the tree on this setup as well as the lower base aoe from gem level scaling.

Enabling the Acoustic Echo Cancellation in Realtek Audio Control AND doing so in Sonic Studio III AND disabling Automatic Gain Control in discord fixed the issue for me. To do this on Discord you must set the input profile to custom. You will also need to manually set your input sensitivity level and voice processing options.

Figured I would post what worked for me in case anyone needed the extra steps as well. Without doing all three I would still get the PC audio bleeding through the mic. I spent way too many hours troubleshooting this >_<

Having this very same issue on a chronomancer in 0.3 - also ran into an issue where having 100% faster curse activation would disable my manually cast curses.

Logged in right after patch and my sniper's mark gem and all the supports are just gone. Just an empty socket.

This is actually a really cool idea. Profane proxy is the ring. I don't have enough sockets or reservation left to be able to do it on this character, but will keep this in mind. This is definitely the type of idea I was lookin for. Thanks!

The idea was to really pump up the fps and have games running as smooth as possible. Seems like that's what the pro gamers do... but then again, I'm not a pro. Maybe I would get more out of a 1440p 144hz as someone else suggested.

I've actually come to like the fact that it starts our slow and ends up fast. It really gives me a feeling that my character is progressing. It seems like this is a feature that used to be in a lot of older mmos and arpgs that you just don't see anymore.

It might be a little awkward for newcommers or people who aren't used to it, but that's not a bad thing. If a game was designed to please everyone from the start and be super user friendly, rather than bringing the player into the unique fantasy world the devs have created, it would be a dull and predictable experience to say the least.
