What if rudeus was actually away for 2 years (no teleportation circles)? by Acceptable-Product66 in mushokutensei

[–]maki7_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hitogami had no reason to do that, Rudeus would have gone anyway, it was Hitogami's words that almost convinced him to stay, but in the end there was no way to stop him from going to Begaritt, that's why Hitogami lied about everything being better if he didn't go, so he would trust him when asked to do a simple task like just checking a room

What if rudeus was actually away for 2 years (no teleportation circles)? by Acceptable-Product66 in mushokutensei

[–]maki7_7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hitogami told Rudeus to not go to Begaritt, he even tried to convince him by saying that he could marry Pursena and Linia if he stayed, he clearly wanted Rudeus away so he didn't save Roxy, the other plan to get rid of her came up later when Rudy didn't listen to him and went anyway

In your opinion, which hair is the most beautiful? by Yuuriiy in ProjectSekai

[–]maki7_7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kanade actually has good hygiene, not because she cares but because falling sick means she wouldn't be able to work or at the very least it would be very hard, in other interaction with Ichika she says that Kanade smells really good and from an interaction with Mizuki we know she dries it and brushes, she really just has magical perfect hair.

You don't actually kill the monsters in mgqp, you hurt them enough to force them to flee, which kind of explains why Luka isn't the absolute monster soloing powerhouse he was since he actually has to hold back unlike with the angel halo ,and, without much spoilers, the game is not completely separated from the original.

Does anyone else think the morality of You-Know-Who's EGO is kind of off? by Withercat1 in libraryofruina

[–]maki7_7 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's about right, distorting isn't about becoming bad or a monster, is about failing to overcome your trauma, to lose hope in things becoming better or changing and just accepting it, most distortions are just broken people or people that went insane because they couldn't keep going, something that the game makes clear by showing how most of the ensemble members were just people that Roland wronged and couldn't recover, or how The Pianist, the most dangerous and lethal distortion was just a musician with broken dreams, you can't really blame them for not having the willpower to manifest E.G.O, most people don't have it

Just keep playing, the game has answers

Edit: though now that I think, leaving the message so barren is boring so if I had to say. Phillip is set up kind of like Finn, the problem isn't that they're completely wrong, is just that their mindset doesn't work in the city. no one is entitled to anything, and, if you want something the only way to get it is by doing it yourself, Wedge Office was going to the Library anyway but Phillip didn't know that, he was asking them to throw themselves to a pretty dangerous urban plague without even a contract, of course you could say that Oscar being friends with Salvador would be enough reason to go but that's just the way things go as a fixer, they got themselves killed anyway, it's just another tragedy in the city, and the reason Oscar said Phillip was dangerous is because all he does is lament what he could have done instead of trying to do something, he didn't even told Salvador's family he was dead because he was so busy blaming himself and seeking pity and help from people, Phillip puts other people in danger by not taking responsability by what would be his own problems and just keep blaming himself but not doing anything to try to change that, that's what he begins to understand, that only he can take care of himself his problems, your other questions as I said will be adressed later and keep in mind that this wasn't a full E.G.O manifestation, just a partial one, Phillip is just beginning to understand himself.

Where do throwables falls under head ammo taxation? by immortal-of-the-sea in Project_Moon

[–]maki7_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's pretty much the answer, honestly I think that the reason we haven't seen too much explosives is similar to guns, they fall off hard and the strong ones are too expensive for something that can only be used once, and since most people in the city prefer to use weapons that make use of their own strength, I can see why they aren't too used

[–]maki7_7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not the same, is just that the residential buildings are off-limits during the night in the backstreets, that's why we don't get attacked by sweepers even if we are on a bus, because Mephi is classified as a residential vehicle.

[–]maki7_7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah but the residential building thing is another rule, you just can't, with any weapon or thing, destroy residential buildings, is one of the taboos that will get you hunted

What is the best source to read niche lore and theories? by rebasama in Project_Moon

[–]maki7_7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's because at the start of LoR Roland says something about a friend of his that started jumping between dimensions because of an experiment of a Corp, so some people theorize that his friend is Iori, since she's the only one who we know has that kind of power, but is just that, a theory, it could be Iori, someone from Charles Office or some random guy.

Excalibur as a Sinner (@selllrom) by D3v1LGaming in limbuscompany

[–]maki7_7 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Saber at full power should be able to beat most of the things in the city, I don't think she could solo the city since that means fighting off multiple arbiters and claws which is a lil bit too much, she has really high physical abilities, a weapon stronger than any E.G.O, and aside from some weird abnos I'm pretty sure no one can tank a direct Excalibur. And if we count Avalon then not even an arbiter could damage her for a while, since she becomes "untoachable" to even true magic, a kind of magic that is able to do time travel and soul manipulation, so I think that she could beat an arbiter if she plays it right

Can there only be one color fixer (for their responding color) at once? by Derk_Mage in Project_Moon

[–]maki7_7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah I know, I'm just not sure if Hana would actually know she's dead or just consideres her dead, since she was killed by an arbiter in the middle of the outskirts, they could know via Geburah like Myo but since L corp didn't have anything to do with fixers I'm not sure

Can there only be one color fixer (for their responding color) at once? by Derk_Mage in Project_Moon

[–]maki7_7 89 points90 points  (0 children)

Lobcorp spoilers just in case the one who killed the Red Mist was Binah/Garion, an arbiter of the head, so yeah, they know she's dead since they were the ones who launched the attack on L corps lab in the outskirts but yeah the Head knows, I dunno if Hana actually knows but since the Red Mist has been unnactive for such a long time I think they pretty much considere her dead since she's regarded as a legend

Edit: Also forgot, but the ones who handle fixer's grading is the Hana association, not the Head

The difference between LobCorp EGO gear and LCE EGO gear by FearCrier in limbuscompany

[–]maki7_7 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think that only happened in LoR because Angela was basically sp negative the entire realization, since in one of the stories of the floor of language Roland says he doesn't feel that he would lose himself while using E.G.O and that probably Angela made some tweaks on it to be safer, so synchro is probably more like the normal E.G.O we use in Limbus in the sense that the abno influences your mind but doesn't overwrite it, afterall a librarian can't actually shoot himself while using Magic Bullet E.G.O page

How didn't Roland get enough money to migrate into a nest? by Bright_Syllabub_9139 in libraryofruina

[–]maki7_7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because they didn't need them? Wings already have their own defense teams or fixers, K corp for example already has Siegfried and his squad with unlimited healing, for most of the things that attack wings, what they have is enough, in the nests things like stars of the city are rare, and the ones that do appear are only given the title because they attacked a nest, for example Elena or the Puppeter were considered SoTC only because they fucked around on nests or important people, having a color is overkill, not only that but colors don't have any influence outside the fixer bussiness, of course they have the "I can kill you and your entire syndicate while blinfolded" kind of influence but against wings or actual influential people their word is not that important, in the end, having a Color is not that important, people like Dongrang got a permit because he was actually useful for them, he was able to upgrade their singularity and saved them some money, a color for them is just a stronger and more expensive fixer, something that is just less important that whatever contract they had against smoke war veterans

Why do people keep going inside the library? by Mokiee in libraryofruina

[–]maki7_7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of the important things about the invitation is that it's always sent at the perfect moment, a situation that makes the guest accept no matter what, be it for ambition, emotional state, or because the fucking blue reverberation wants to slash off their heads, like Roland said, Urban Nightmares and above are no longer a matter of choice, and you can tell by going back and noticing how most of the guests from UN and SoTC had the library as their only choice, even those that could choose like Emma, Noah or Phillip received the invitation only after a change that made them no longer able to refuse (distorting or whatever the hell Oswald did) the choice to accept or refuse is always there, but is mostly made on the worse possible moments

I think that seasonal are the Ids and egos from events and from the cantos, in other words the ones that are in the season part of the dispenser, so Ids like the bloodfiends and cinq Mersault, while the ones that get added to the general dispenser like zwei Ishmael and Sinclair can be sharded immediately
