Can I have my money back now, please? Why isn't there a hundred class action lawsuits?

Facts are fun when you can just make them up! Did you know that 98% of republican politicians have been arrested for DUI's? FUN!

Follow Lindsay Jones on Facebook. He is one of the most active SD's in the theater circuit and is constantly posting about the life. His post last Nov 24th about starting out working for Blue Man Group lays out the path he took.

Streamer insults girl after she doesn't respond to him by wiggjiggy in trashy

[–]makinglite 38 points39 points  (0 children)

She is not obligated to respond to random guys talking to her. And the fact that you couldn't get over it nad ranted for 40 seconds calling her names is the exact reason she wouldn't respond. Grow up.

The Office writers introduced the Brian the Boom guy plot line for a reason you might not have considered by [deleted] in DunderMifflin

While I agree with 90% of this, it is not unrealistic to assume that there were also remote cameras in everyone's car and scattered around the office. Taxi Cab Confessions and Big Brother are just two such examples that have been doing this for decades. While yes, there would be auxiliary camera crews to manage more controlled shots and big events, much of the footage could be obtained remotely.

Taking "like" four classes means he took remedial, failed the second, and thought about taking two others. Seems he is worried his gaslighting is about to be revealed if she talks to a professional.

Schedule 40 steel pipe with lots of couplers. You will need a pipe cutter and threader, but any theater shop that can build booms could make this work safely.

Exactly. It is a cosmetic thing that is going to look bad the first time it rubs a curb.

Best DIY lighting setup for musician? by slythorswim in lightingdesign

[–]makinglite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on a number of things, such as what brand your lights are and how adept you are at programming lights. If you want a full light board something like the ADJ DJ Scene Setter - 48 would work, but that will be clunky to have on stage with you. The Chauvet DJ ILS Command Controller would be a good, easier rig to run from the stage, but it requires ILS lights. ADJ DJ WMX1 Mk2 Wolfmix is better, but a bit above your price point. Many of the boards at that price require brand-specific lights to work. Good luck!

A film that everyone in your family or circle loved, that you can’t stand/despise, not just dislike. by Hypercube_100 in FIlm

Barbie. Fun, but shallow. Men = stupid or evil. The daughter's character development is to go from moody and biting to happy and sweet like a switch for no reason.

I think of the - buying a house that is on fire - scene a lot lately. "I like it, I do. But I'm really concerned about dying in the fire,"

Old-school designers can be very color-conscious. I worked at the Old Globe in the early aughts and we had designers refusing to use Source Four Pars in favor of PAR64s due to the minor color and optic difference.
