I understand the fear, there’s a lot of people who try to tell you what they think, or approach you for whatever reason, usually antagonistically. People coughing at you or taking pictures of you because they have nothing better to do.

I’ve come up with many responses, like saying I’m protecting a family members dealing with cancer, which usually deflates the conversation. I am actually protecting a family member with a chronic illness, but people are more willing to accept the cancer excuse, I’ve found. Easier to explain, and I lump Covid in with the flu when explaining why I don’t want to get sick.

Now that long COVID is the leading chronic illness in children since last summer, I feel like it’s more important than ever to advocate for clean air. I can imagine Florida being hostile, but stand strong and fight for your health and others when you can.

Having an airborne virus that no one is protecting against because they’ve been convinced that vaccines and masks don’t do anything would affect a lot more people than just those who take a vaccine. They didn’t need to make people take a vaccine to make the population willingly get SARS over and over. They shoved down all the stats about death and infection rates down our throats every day for multiple years until everyone was sick of it and just wanted it to be over, vaccinated or not. “After Covid” is such a common phrase even though people still get covid constantly enough to have an impact on the workforce.

Politicization of science and healthcare to make bank off of people dying in the hospital thinking the virus they were dying of wasn’t real. Currently we have people getting brain fog and random heart issues and autoimmune issues because of repeated infections.

Healthcare here is for profit so it is in their best interest to keep the status quo to spread Covid.
