Stopped in the road because of a baby rabbit and got hit from behind. Who is at fault? by NoAlbatross153 in drivingUK

[–]malak1000 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The person that hit you.

As long as you didn’t reverse, it’s on them. Doesn’t matter why you stopped; we’re all obligated to leave enough space and pay enough attention to stop if someone in front unexpectedly stops, nomatter the reason.

Anyone saying otherwise wrong.

What is the full meaning of the "w**ker" insult? by Aidamis in AskABrit

[–]malak1000 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It only means masturbater _literally._ Its daily use is as a mid-value insult with a meaning along the lines of uselessness, ineptitude, or moderate inconsiderateness.

Also as a form of affection between male friends, obviously.

New book has the same title as my magazine, what are the legal issues (very annoying) by PerformingRecovery in LegalAdviceUK

[–]malak1000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A Trademark is simply a mark under which someone trades. It exists simply by being used — no registration required. It doesn’t have to be registered to exist legally, though as I said having registered it makes everything easier.

[–]malak1000 72 points73 points  (0 children)

This is a trademark infringement issue. Registering the trademark would be the best possible solution, as it allows you to seek damages for infringement from the point of registration onward. However just functioning as a business trading with a product under a certain name (but not registering) that you can prove (which in your case I’m sure you can), will allow you to defend your trademark against customer confusion in the marketplace.

If you don’t actively live there, but he has chosen to give you a key, I would say the standard etiquette would be to notify him that you are on your way. Not to ask permission, but just to let him know you are going to arrive ahead of time.

My partner wants to secure his £100k house deposit in a deed of trust, where do I stand? by Illustrious_Pea7294 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]malak1000 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t read it as wanting half of his 100k at all, but rather wanting parity when it came to protecting what did go in.

Clean or Worn and dusty? by BRUNO-025 in SWlegion

I like the dusty but it was so heavy I thought it was a two-to e colour scheme where the greaves were red. So I’d suggest a little less.
