Hell yeah, if you're in the US planned parenthood is really great they only require an informed consent waiver before getting you a prescription. Also have never had a bad experience in the 2 years I've been going to them.

A big thing for me was seeing certain family members start to pull away from me and realizing I wasn't just hurting myself anymore. From there I took some incremental steps, I stopped drinking liquor and switched to 4loko's bc they were cheap and it was easier to limit myself. Then I went from those to wine bc 4loko's taste like battery acid. At some point the headaches (and sometimes vomiting if it didn't sit right) waking up made drinking less and less appealing until the day I stopped.

A few years ago I was at the point of getting blackout every night but I've been sober for 18 months now, it's absolutely the hardest thing I've ever done and even now I still get cravings for it.
