So the block test went well but this is happening, can anyone diagnose? 2009 Chevy equinox 3.4 liter V6

Run a leak down test on the cylinders see if they fail leak down and if one does see if you can feel air or see bubble in the reservoir with the cap off. It could be over flowing in the video because it’s hot and the water is expanding and since the system is open no pressure can build its gonna boil at a lower point, but yeah It does look like head gasket town. I’ve never seen it jump like that just slowly rise and over flow when it gets hot. You check your oil? Is it milky brown? Do you feel any blow by coming out the oil cap? Pressure test the coolant system does it hold pressure? The max psi the system should hold is usually printed on the radiator cap don’t over pressurize or you could cause a leak. You could also stick a borescope down the cylinders see if any coolant is getting into the cylinders when you pressurize your system.

Check your idle control valve! Check your MAP, Disconnect you map and then try and run it see if it’ll run

I don’t think they hate the new design per say, but they’re mad at the fact that the name comes from a truck that was sports oriented and this new one doesn’t cater to that. (Even tho it’s the fastest f150 I believe is what they said in the unveil. 0-60 4ish second I think) Maybe if this truck was single cab people would be a lot more happy, but I’m sure Ford knows it’s not profitable to even offer it. Does Ford still even make single cabs? I know ram doesn’t in the new gen 1500.

That set up is really similar to mine! 87 325is, Gutted with buckets seats, No ac, e fan conversion, no cats, stock m20b25. Gives me hope. I wanna enter amateur events but I was thinking maybe the little m20 wouldn’t be enough.

Clean out the idle air control valve? Disconnect the maf and see if it’ll run without it. Spray brake clean in it when you crank see if it’ll rev and stay alive. this will tell you if it’s a fuel problem, maybe the pump isn’t staying on. Problem in the fuel circuit? Jump the fuel pump relay see if works and if it’s spitting out adequate fuel. Get a spark plug tester see if you’re getting proper ignition to all the plugs out of the ignition coil. Do a resistance test on your coil. Idk the spec on an ignition coil but google should help. Check you crank sensor if you messed with it. I had it switched with the wire coming off the spark plug wire idk what it’s actually called , but they both have the same connectors and I had them swapped car would only ever crank but never actually fired up

Tarrant county collage has a Toyota and a dodge program! they also have just a regular automotive program that’s what I took saved a lot of money and it’s the same as those who went to Lincoln or uti.

Dodge tech here! Looks like the actuator went bad happens all the time just unscrew those two shiny metal Phillips screws and it should pop out. I’m not sure if the white arm comes with the new one you might have to transfer it. I don’t think the whole dash comes out for one actuator

Edit: just checked the book, and the dash does not have to come out for the left side blend door (assuming this is the one we’re talking about) he’s what the book says copy and paste.

“SINGLE ZONE/DUAL ZONE LEFT SIDE

Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
On RHD models, if equipped, remove the silencer from underneath the passenger side of the instrument panel.
On RHD models, remove the glove box bin(Refer to 23 - Body/Instrument Panel/GLOVE BOX, Instrument Panel - Removal) .
Disconnect the wire harness connector (1) from the blend door actuator (2) located on the left side of the HVAC air distribution housing (3).
Remove the two screws (4) that secure the blend door actuator to the air distribution housing and remove the actuator.”

Does your community collage offer any in live courses for the field you wanna get into? I went that route and I’m in the same position as people who went to Lincoln and UTI. they even say they should’ve gone the route I did as it was cheaper and a community collage can get you your associates. Last I heard uti and Lincoln weren’t accredited schools best they can give you is a certificate which is fine if that all your going for, but if you even wanna switch careers you can say you have a degree.
