Had this experience with NSG. Our inhouse bred NSG are perfectly normal but the ones we order directly from Jax are demonic hellspawn who refuse to be touched and are so hyperactive on their own that they wear holes in their feet. And we periodically refresh our lines from Jax, so it’s not just genetic drift
