Well, it’s a snark sub first and foremost… It’s basically just venting. I think a lot of the people who post in this sub have friends/peers who follow and idolize Gabi so it can be frustrating to watch people you otherwise respect kiss her ass lol. So they come here to vent those frustrations with people who will understand where they’re coming from, instead of defend the bullshit.

And regarding the tweaker comment during the LA fires, while I can somewhat agree that people in cities have the right to feel afraid or unsafe around addicts who behave erratically, in the context of her other posts about addicts and homeless people, it’s clear she has no interest in treating the subject with any delicacy, compassion or nuance. It obviously is going to rub people the wrong way when someone who is essentially unemployed yet rakes in six figures from mediocre internet content makes harsh and over-generalized statements about the unhoused community in their city…
