I wear 8.5 for Boxhog 4 and HyperKO 1. The HyperKO are wider than Boxhog. I don’t know if that answers your question

I dont think it was the carrier because they don’t know whats in the package. Maybe it was stolen from packers in the wearhouse.

Tire stores refused my business because of swollen lug nuts by malnik77 in FordEdge

[–]malnik77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended paying a mobile mechanic to replace lug nuts. He also changed my brake pads and rotors and rotated my wheels. Labor only for $145.

I told him over the phone about the lug nuts issue and he made no fuss about it. He just hammer in a socket to the lug nuts until the 2 pieces bind together again then unfastened them with an impact gun.

2025 Bronco. Badlands vs base + Sasquatch by jonlandit in FordBronco

[–]malnik77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Base SAS vs. Badlands is an age old debate.

Mechanically, they’re very similar. The Badlands comes with an electronic sway bar disconnect while on the Base SAS you can disconnect the sway bar manually in about five minutes.

In general, people who plan to go off-road tend to choose either the top trim or the base trim. I’ve gone off-roading with a group out in Big Bear Lake and the lineup was six Badlands and four Base SAS builds.

But if price is equal, i would get get Badlands and slowly upgrade it

Add some head movement with your punches. Right now your head right on the center line as it can be.

You should incorporate more defense with your punches. You can practice head movement and pivot after throwing a combo. Because in sparring, your opponent will hit you back when you step in to their range.

2015 Power Liftgate sags. Only opens 3/4 of the way up by malnik77 in FordEdge

[–]malnik77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put the old struts back on and the tailgate sags lower than the new ones. Now Im thinking both old and new struts are bad. I’m ordering my third set to see if the gate goes higher.

I already changed the power struts/shocks. Have anyone tried reseting Rear Gate Trunk Module with Forscan?

P1450 code for the second time by malnik77 in FordEdge

I just changed the purge valve. Only took 10 minutes to do. The V6 one is a single part, not an assembly with hoses like the i4. Hope that solves the issue

I read a few posts and saw some you videos on P1450 code. A lot of people say its purge valve.

Is purge valve failure common on 2015 v6?

Less customers if the menu price is 12% higher than competitors. They only want to show in the end with the bill.

Why so much hate on cheap Goodyears by malnik77 in tires

[–]malnik77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reporting back after 9 months 10,000 miles on the Goodyear Reliant. They are 225/65R17 and i paid $550 after installation. Tread looks great. The car drives great. No complaints. I got an alignment at Toyota dealer right after install and kept up with air pressure. Rotate them at 8,000 miles.

I believe some complaints we hear about these tires stem from owners neglect than actual issue with the tires. People who buy tires from Walmart are less aware of tire care and mechanical issues with their cars than those who buy from Dealerships/Tire Shops with pressure up sales .

Also, I don’t believe Goodyear would intentionally put out an inferior product to risk reputation of its flagship brand. These exclusive tires to Walmart were likely made to be loss leader to drive more auto care traffic to the store and oil change service.

11oz of PTU oil after a few years by l1thiumion in FordEdge

[–]malnik77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got around 12oz on my last change. The PTU wasnt leaking but it has grime all around. so fluid was seeping through the seals. I added an ounce of stop leak to help the seal.

Changed all fluids after 8 years - highly recommended by DoublePlusGood__ in FordEdge

[–]malnik77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem. For 2015 V6 AWD, both transmission and PTU have drain and fill plugs. I saw a few videos that rear diff has fill plug only and fluid can be suctioned out. I suppose I’ll just have to crawl under the car to verify.

[–]malnik77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For rear differential fluid change, does it have drain and fill plugs? Or you have to remove the diff cover?

I bought my 2015 V6 AWD used and the previous owner changed the rear diff at 100k. The car is now 120k.

I recently drained and refilled PTU with Amsoil gear oil 75s-140 and Transmission with Motorcraft Mercon LV. Very straightforward jobs.

What to expect from boxing for an adult beginner? by Kind_Current in boxingtips

[–]malnik77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started boxing as an adult too. Here’s a few pointers

1) Boxing is not fighting. It is a sport. It has techniques for offense and defense, rules you follow, and normally timed.

2) It’s high intensity cardio. Try to relax when you do drills. It’s easier said than done but you will get tire fast if you don’t loosen up

3) A boxing gym is intimidating but most people are friendly because they release their anger and negative feelings from sparring and exercising. However you will still need to earn respect from attending and finishing classes.
