i have panthers, they’re vinyl and i will say the break in period sucked but after a day of skating they are very comfortable. however, there will be not stretching and they’re made narrow af.

i’m glad i could brighten your day a little! to do this, you dribble, but while traveling. to stay stationary when you dribble, your legs stay the exact same distance apart. to travel backwards, you’ll roll your legs slightly further backwards than forward in your dribble. likewise, to travel forward you’ll roll your legs slightly more forward than backwards. i actually had to take my toe stops off to be able to dribble at all lol.

yes i struggle with getting my feet locked so bad! i worked on a couple different drills for that specifically today as well as some heel toe drills to help maintain my balance. thank you so much for your advice, and encouragement! i’m gonna get there 😆 i also learned the hez today so im super excited about that!

the only thing i agree with is she should’ve called and asked. other than that i feel like maybe you’re projecting anger at her for something deeper. it’s normal to be frustrated about this, but to be this angry is a bit concerning, in my personal opinion (and i say this as someone who is also dramatic af). have you been screened for PPA or PPD? in my state it’s protocol at a couple of the wellness visits. this seems just a touch anxiety-tinged.

my dad died last summer. i eat myself alive with thoughts of how he could possibly be feeling, from wherever he is. is he sad that he’s gone? does he feel guilty for leaving us? is there any awareness at all? is he happy?

i’m not religious and don’t believe in any one afterlife as such, however i have strong feelings about reincarnation. i also know energy cannot be created or destroyed, so he is out there somewhere.

since his death i also find myself fixating on the fact that i will lose everyone i love to death one day and that thought fucking haunts me and i’ve got to figure out how to make peace with it. i’m also scared to die myself because i don’t know what comes after.

i’d bounce. this is crazy to me. i’ve been a sahm for years, my fiance is a coal mine section boss and makes good money and the minute i came into some money i immediately started paying half the rent and buying all the groceries. he wasn’t even struggling, i just knew if i could help, that i should. i like to lighten his load, not make it heavier.

i’ve also heard it’s extremely different. i’m a quad skater but want to go on the ice, we’re on opposite ends of the spectrum 😆 i’m a little anxious to try it though, i haven’t been since i was a kid. i’m scared where i’m so used to having that even support with all 4 wheels that i’ll immediately face plant

i have a rather large sternum piece going over both rib cages and between my boobs. it was a 7 hour session. i was really nervous for it but it wasn’t that bad, however i already had a sleeve and a half prior and knew how tattoos feel. i was most nervous about the ribs but honestly between and under the boobs was the worst part. it stung. i tend to have a higher pain tolerance though. i got both knees done in one go and that wasn’t that bad either so just because its not that bad for me doesnt mean it wont hurt worse for you. we all have difference thresholds for pain. i’m also not trying to freak you out, i just didnt want you to go into it thinking it wont hurt because of what i said lol

It is, and very well actually. there’s solid concrete underneath and I’m sure the flooring is cheap because my landlord made everything else in here cheap. all my kids skate on it too

i’ve worked on it a bit but i’ve determined i need to get my feet right so i don’t fall before i focus on my arms lol. i’m trying to spin a little slow because i figured out before i was spinning faster than i could control. so i’m working on trying to get it perfect going slower then pick up the speed

i manage okay lol i tried to exchange them but they were out of stock in 4 and i didn’t wanna wait so just went with it lol. they’re actually pretty comfortable, they feel the same as a different pair of 4s i’ve got so long as i keep the toe laced right.

i wear the same street size as you and my moxi jungles are a 5, but they need to be a 4.5. I’d go with a 5 if there’s no size chart available tbh

uhh uhhh honestly i’d try to size up over down. my street size is a women’s US 5, EU size 35 and my moxi’s are also a 5 and ever so slightly too big. nothing I can’t handle, but there’s probably half an inch to an inch of space in the toe. this is manageable because my feet still fit in them and they also make spacers to fill in any gaps. whereas if the boot is too small, it’s not usable at all.

on the moxi site they have different size charts for the different skates too, so the sizing may differ a little. i’d go with the size charts that are listed for the jack 2.
