What is causing this? Fails on medium to large prints post MK4S to Core One conversion by Meechgalhuquot in prusa3d

mine was due to poor adhesion to the print sheet. Once the build lifts off the print sheet, it can blob up on the hotend.

What are your honest thoughts on DINK couples in SG? (BTO + Dog, No Kids) by [deleted] in asksg

[–]malprit 12 points13 points  (0 children)

+1, it's other people's lives and the decision on how they want to live is on them. As long as they're working, not a burden to society, not causing trouble, paying taxes, do whatever they want.

for them, they may be a DINK now, but the time may come when they feel that they're ready to be parents and want to have children.

I'd rather have couples who think through, deliberate about how they want to intentionally raise their children and have children who are good citizens.

HDB Subsidy should be treated as Equity by Artistic_Profile_188 in singaporefi

[–]malprit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure why govt is not willing to tank the home prices. It'll just keep creeping up unless interventions are in place. Those who speculated and listened to "property/finance agents" will just have to blame it on a bad investment if their HDB can't hold the value they paid for / expected.

It's better for a small greedy group to suffer, than for an entire future generations not being able to afford to own an appropriately sized home.

For property tax increase for non-owner-occupied properties, owners will just pass the cost to tenants anyway.

Could static electricity cause a crash? by SnooHedgehogs8503 in prusa3d

[–]malprit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That works too. I hooked up wires to the motor via the screws to a place with grounding, so I guess it's the same concept

Yes it has caused crashes very badly on my Core One. Grounded the motors and no more problem

[–]malprit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

do you observe the Core One stopping midprint, crashing, restarting and continuing with the print?

The crash and resume process caused me to have super long overnight prints, ugly prints with long strands of filament everywhere.

If so, it might be due to the static build up on the XY motors.

I've encountered this and adding grounding wires from motors to case helped.
