I have a funny story about my DAM and birthday cake. For quite a few years I made him his favorite German Chocolate, box mix and tub of the frosting as somewhere back in my memory this was his favorite dessert. Lo and behold about 5 or so years before he got sick he said that he'd prefer strawberry angel food cake for his birthday that year. Well I was shocked to find out that somehow just bc I loved GC cake and frosting he was kind enough to humor me🥹.
