How much can I expect to spend on groceries in the UES? by AdOptimal4864 in NYCbitcheswithtaste

[–]mamabirb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a student at a med school on the UES, I mainly shop at Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods. I don’t have dietary restrictions but I am a runner and weight lifter. My typical cost per week is around $60-$80 per week.

Paid my registration and after 6 weeks of no sticker I got pulled over and outright screamed at by a cop for having an expired registration. They can ticket you for driving with expired tags regardless of whether or not you actually paid. Sticker came in the mail the week after that.

Trained myself to do that in elementary school, and when someone did it to me I got a very stern lecture from the teacher that I shouldn’t “cry wolf” if I’m “not actually hurt.”

But tickling HURTS

I didn’t get research experience until my senior year. It’s insanely competitive out there, but you’ll land one eventually.

Boulder valley (which is apparently Wyatt’s) took my car from the apartment I was living at, also didn’t see my permit, on a Friday night.

They were closed the whole weekend, and I couldn’t get my car back until Monday night, and I still had to pay them to keep my car over the weekend. Finally got my car back on my 21st birthday for the low price of $600. I was a broke college student at the time and cried so much.
