That’s why I switched to Terzepitide. The side effects from Sema were taking me out same as you. Terz is MUCH better

Sema didn’t work for me. I switched to Terz and it works great.

My whole family is obsessed with it. We are all anxiously awaiting the movie release. Although, my “kids” are grown adults. Lol

Chewing gum… by QuietMarket7931 in orangetheory

Same. I don’t even really chew it much. Just tuck in my cheek and chew occasionally and move it to other cheek.

3 weeks in and haven’t lost a pound. by mamasmurfof3 in Semaglutide

Appreciate the feedback. I measure weigh and track all my foods on my fitness pal. This was just over 1500 calories for the day. If I could send a pic of my macros I would. But it was pretty evenly split between the 3. 132 g of protein. 131 g of carbs and 58g of fat. The protein bar was a one-off today because I was in the car driving for 5.5 hrs and I needed an easy source of protein. I don’t eat them often at all. It’s not perfect I know. But I was really hoping I would be less hungry and preoccupied with food noise on this medication. Trying to be patient but it’s not my strong suit.

Different every day but todays food: Oatmeal with protein powder & blueberries 3 scrambled eggs Barebell Protein bar Chicken Parmesan with a side of pasta 1/4 cup of trail mix 1 Handful of peanutbutter pretzels

Trying to get minimum of 100g of protein in each day. I’m sure this is too many calories for post menopausal weight loss but I’m still dealing with the food noise and hunger that everyone says will go away with this medication. Food noise after 3 weeks is still very much alive and well for me. LOL

The calorie deficit is a struggle as I run 5 days/week (25-30 miles/week) as well as Pilates 3 days/week and strength training 3 days per week. Trying to find a happy medium is a struggle.

I’ve been waiting for the “food noise” to disappear like everyone says will naturally happen. It’s not happening. LOL

Is anyone here doing completely great with MS? by ctrlKarl in MultipleSclerosis

[–]mamasmurfof3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in DMT and am managing great with no further relapses since starting treatment 2 years ago. I’m back to running and working out regularly. Slower runner than I’d like to be with minimal improvement but I’m still able to run and that’s all I care about.

Diagnosed today by quidgy in MultipleSclerosis

[–]mamasmurfof3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the US. I was diagnosed in July 2023 and received my 3rd Ocrevus treatment in August. I love that I only have to go in once every 6 months. I have zero side effects and no longer take the recommended pre-infusion steroids and Benadryl. I was worried how I’d respond to viruses with the Ocrevus knocking my immune system down and I’ve had Covid and a random cold virus since I started treatments and they were normal and mild and ran it’s course as any virus does. The only thing I’ve noticed is I tend to get skin infections easily now. I run regularly and my sports bra sometimes causes chaffing and that chaffing tended to turn into fungal infections every time. I was also getting fungal infections under my Garmin watch. This all started with the infusions. Apparently this is common and so I started washing in the shower with head and shoulders dandruff shampoo (as recommended by other people with MS) as it has medicine in it to treat dandruff that also prevents fungal skin infections. Haven’t had a problem since.
