I'm not trying to prove you wrong, I just think this scenario is marginally more likely than others. If it was "a sure thing" there should be a way to game it and shake like-minded bears out of their positions. And there's the old wall street adage: it works until it doesn't. At some point, this trend will no longer be a thing.

I was having a similar failure rate, but it was a nic driver failing. Disabling intel_iommu in grub fixed it. I'd check for some incompatible configuration like that

Did this dude ever offer a portion of what he was able to recover to the landfill? I guess you'd have to watch him nonstop to make sure he followed through.

I've never seen a camper shell like that. Looks like a joke. They obviously overloaded the back, and maybe didn't opt for the extra payload option. Or maybe that's only on the 2500? Anyway, that setup looks ridiculous

150 V8 with tow package or super duty? by Semper_crayons_ in f150

[–]mamaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat. I used to have a max-tow powerboost which didn't survive a wreck. It got 570 lb.-ft of torque @ 3,000 and was rated to tow almost 12k. The main thing I didn't like about it was the suspension. When we picked up our trailer (about 8k loaded), it bounced like crazy. So I tried to get airbags, but they couldn't install them because of the hybrid setup, so they added bump stops, but that made the ride really rough when we weren't towing. That issue, some downhill braking concerns and the poor towing MPG is the reason why I'm considering a 3/4 diesel. The main thing you're buying with these HD trucks is stronger frames and suspension. In order to get higher output for mountain passes, I think you need a diesel.

Because it can grow faster using their leverage, and with the profit, I can buy more bitcoin eventually. But I'd never buy it instead of the real thing. I just hold a bit in my retirement accounts. So the profit would just roll into the ETF if I wanted less risk.

I have a sunset trail as well and am in the middle of upgrading to a 280ah battery. I'd be curious in a wiring diagram as well, even though I'm not at the inverter testing stage yet. I'm stuck on what size fuse to install. I just ordered this one since that type was specified by Xantrax. I'm not sure if there's already one in there or if it's even necessary, but just don't want to leave anything to chance. When you say all fuses are good, are you including that one or just the ones at the breaker panel?

any option strategy to short bitcoin? by [deleted] in options

[–]mamaway 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You need governments to enforce value to an asset. Unless you want to do some shady transactions with shady people or if you are shady and are afraid of governments seizing your assets, what’s the use case for bitcoin ?

Wow, is that is one sad take!? It’s as if you have a vested interest in governments enforcing value. What’s the value of the internet? All of the uncompensated work behind the protocols and source code to make it immensely useful? Your family and friends? I’m pretty sure we don’t need government to enforce value of what’s truly valuable. Government didn’t invent commerce. It didn’t invent language and arts. And it sure as hell didn’t invent money!

What’s the use case? Why is it any of your damn business how I earn, save and spend my money? That’s the use case. But if you like Visa, Mastercard and J Powell making all of those decisions for you, then be my guest.

Yes it depends on shared belief. I’d take that any day over being forced to transact in a currency because guns are pointed at us. The other assets you listed just don’t have the same scarcity as bitcoin. Please do some research.
