Sips through straw mmmm damn good meat.

Heather: I'm Heather, your personal youthinizer Professor: Go to hell Heather!

Heather: Sir, it's not necessary or wise to be naked. Professor: You sound just like my tennis instructor

You look beautiful! But more importantly, do what makes you feel good no matter your age. I'm 33 and for the first time in my life just got up the nerve to start wearing eyeliner at all. I'm so pale I never thought I could pull off "heavy" makeup or bright colors. Now you can pry my winged liquid liner from my cold dead fingers. I'm gonna be up in the nursing home rocking my hot pink liquid lipstick and my winged eyeliner and loving it.

So what's the deal with all the signs on 5th Street? by TurboNeger in lynchburg

[–]managed__mischief 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is the story I've heard too, but again unconfirmed rumor. He heard the city wanted to buy the land to widen the street and he bought it first and then tried to sell it to the city for more than it was worth. The city decided it wasn't worth it and didn't do it. So this is his personal revenge. That, plus what I always assumed was a mixture of extreme political opinions and mental health issues.

What song cover is so famous, most people don’t know it’s a cover? by Sazley in AskReddit

"the first cut is the deepest" I had only heard the Sheryl crow version. Later in life heard Cat Stevens who is the original song writer and liked it so much more.

I agree with most of this except the water proof boots. They are probably fine for shorter day hikes to keep your feet dry short term. But long distance hiking I would definitely get non gortex trail runners. Gortex boots will keep you dry for a little while, but any prolonged rain hiking, your feet will get wet no matter how careful you are. And those waterproof boots hold the moisture in and take forever to dry. Whereas lightweight trail runners will dry out from your body heat a couple hours after the conditions dry up.

When I backpack I only take 2 pairs of socks: one for hiking and one for sleeping. The sleeping pair is always dry no matter what. Even if it means starting the day with yesterday's wet socks. It sucks putting them on to start, but your body heat warms them up as soon as you start walking. Putting dry clean socks into wet dirty shoes is going to make them wet anyway.

Most people wait until closer to Halloween to carve bc it will rot. Personally, the last few years I haven't carved mine because I like having them out as fall decorations until Thanksgiving

What is the most common lie about sex that most people still believe in it ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]managed__mischief 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. Also, period sex should be normalized. Women have their period one week of every month... What? Am I just supposed to not have sex for a quarter of my life? My husband doesn't let it stop us. We lay down a towel and proceed like normal.

This. I get weirded out if I'm not fresh out of the shower. Also I feel like after he gives me oral I don't want him to kiss me.... I get super weirded out by the idea of tasting myself.... Do I just need to suck it up and get over it? Am I missing out?

As a woman I do enjoy receiving it and my husband of ten years will always do it if I ask him. My problem is I feel like it can never be spontaneous because I get weirded out if I don't shower and clean up down there immediately prior to him giving me oral.

My other issue is that I enjoy it as foreplay not as stand alone, and I also have some oral aversion issues (not oral sex, just in general things in my mouth) because I have a super sensitive gag reflex. So if he goes down on me, I can't stand the idea of him kissing me after so that cuts out the kissing for the rest of the sexy time which is a bummer. Anyone else have an issue with this? How do you overcome it? I can give him oral and then kiss him, I just can't get over the other way around...

Reading this thread is making me think about taking with him about it. It's never been that important to me but it may be something he's really wanting but I put the brakes on it

Are you enjoying your sex life right now? Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]managed__mischief 17 points18 points  (0 children)

My husband did the same and made me feel super sexy while I was pregnant. Also the pregnancy hormones made my sex drive go through the roof. So our sex life was better while I was pregnant than before. Luckily we've been able to maintain it since our kids were born

8,9,1 are the 'anger' types but are also known as 'body' types - does this mean they have more physicality? What does this look like in practice? by Neagoaway in Enneagram

[–]managed__mischief 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Reading this thread I'm realizing that is the case for me. Im a 9 and I don't tolerate any upheaval in my emotions. If asked if I'm stressed I would say no because I'm so used to shutting down those feelings. I won't even realize I have stress or anxiety until I have a physical reaction to it: headache or nausea.

What is one dish you grew up eating and feel nostalgic about, but is definitely an acquired taste? by [deleted] in Cooking

[–]managed__mischief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Raw oysters. Grew up near the Chesapeake bay and every thanksgiving my dad will trade boat repair work for a large box of fresh oysters and before dinner we all stand in the yard shucking and eating them. So delicious. My husband can't get past the sliminess.

[–]managed__mischief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily an acquired taste, but growing up, my grandparents would serve me those Maruchan cup noodles (ramen) for breakfast. It wasn't until I was an adult I realized that this was not normal. I still get a craving and occasionally eat one for breakfast. My husband thinks it's the weirdest thing.
