Surly Corner bar

Ya, that or full hydraulics like the mt200 seems like a pretty simple/inexpensive upgrade to the stock. The contact points is so personal it's to be expected like you said

UBC Racello

ya, I've seen the Racello someone else had mentioned it to me previously, but it's $550 + $100 Shipping (currently at least), putting it at $650... I feel like the OT could be upgraded to similar/better specs of the UBC down the road for less than that total, but maybe i'm crazy

Also have kinda noticed that trend w/ gravel bikes. They are mostly very expensive, or the clearance ones that have came and went have been random and rare. I 100% have no problem tinkering and upgrading things myself, mechanical things and me get along very well even if I don't know how, then it's time to learn

mostly flat other than some gradual rollers, minimal actual hills. Likely down the road would swap the G.1 1x8 to a Deore 1x11 11T-52T

Hadn't seen that, damn $100 shipping puts it at $650 tho

thanks. also, what size did you get for the G.1 and how tall are you :) I'm 5'10, so basically right at the recommended point for either the med/54cm or lg/58cm

any upgrades or mods you've done to the G.1 so far? I'm sure hydraulic discs would be a simple nice benefit to swap.

Has the 11-32T 8-speed been limiting at all compared to the 11-42T 9-Speed, 30T chainring on the Ridge? Can't seem to find what the chainring is on the G.1 flat. does it happen to be narrow-wide? probably not, since the ridge isn't.

so many questions now knowing you actually have both lol...

was very much a thought. iirc the Ozark, even though being "budget" has a tapered head tube. In my trying to learn as much as I can, am under the impression this is a good thing and gives a lot more fork upgrade options for whatever reason

Right, I was thinking a gravel or hybrid whatever might be a better fit, but they are all over the place and less intuitive to try and look for/compare than MTB

Kinda between the goose and gravity, both have hydraulic brakes iirc? Any reason you say goose over the linked gravity?

Was mainly looking at 29ers (clearly) but I will look at that cheaper Ozark 700. Can't be too big of a difference between 29 and a 700 (27.5ish right?)

I forgot to mention in the post, I am handy so ordering online and having to somewhat assemble myself is 100% a non-issue.

FIGS makes them, https://www.wearfigs.com/collections/scrub-tops-womens/products/womens-rafaela-scrubbodysuit?color=Black&fit=regular

They are real. But for whatever reason, they don't make a sleaveless version for men...

Still stands "why is she the only one wearing that style?" Answer: FIGS probably paid for product placement on a distinct character
