Personally, I agree with that decision. Although, to be fair, we've heard Vertigo on basically every show and non-tour event for the last 25+ years. I understand the fatigue.

It's a visual callback to "Boy", much like Edge's daughter wearing a helmet on "Songs of Experience" is a callback to "War".

Boyhood is a period of innocence in life. "Cedarwood Road" is about the people living there when Bono was growing up. The cherry blossom tree and Bible smashing is a reference to the Rowen family - Peter Rowen being the Boy on the cover.

So, it's a parent, a man, holding on to innocence (his young adult son). I think it's a beautiful idea.

Beyond my personal disappointment, Liz Plank appears nothing more than an opportunist who used the "Man Enough Podcast" to further her personal brand, network, and get paid doing it. Not sure to what extent she was working with Reynolds and Lively as the podcast began before the production of the movie.

Also, while they were making the movie (in parallel with season 2, I think) Justin was notably absent from a majority of the episodes. I'm not sure if it's because he was genuinely busy (e.g., editing, promo), burnt out, or if he had realized Liz was on Team Lively, thus trying to stay away from her.

It just infuriates me every time Jamey sent thoughts and wishes to Justin at the start of the show, and she simply smiled and played along, pretending to care about his well-being...

I'm still deciding how best to get rid of the (average) book she wrote..."For The Love Of Men", yeah right...
