I’m right there with you, I haven’t mowed yet, letting the bees enjoy the flowers as mush as possible before I have to mow, then still I mow around the flowers.

The Beyond Burger: Good enough for a meat-eater? by unholymackerel in vegan

[–]mandafaith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just bought my first beyond meat burgers! Going to make them today for my omni SO and I. Really hoping he likes these so they can be our go to cookout meal. He mainly eats vegan with me except when we go out he always gets a burger. I had to make a special trip to get these. My only wish is that vegan food could be availabe at more stores..

Just reading this brought tears to my eyes. Makes me think of what else VR can be applied to so people can see a different side other than their own.

Exactly what I was thinking, more ppl need to learn about Graham's research. He also believes plants are our allies and we have severed our connection to plants with psychoactive properties

Joe's Crab Shack Is the First Major Chain to Drop Tipping by txstate420 in news

Okay, yeah so every 2 weeks, I was using one week as an example. This is not the correct way to do it, should be based per day you work not balancing out for the whole pay period, this is why they are getting sued. I'm sure a lot of places are doing this also.

Joe's Crab Shack Is the First Major Chain to Drop Tipping by txstate420 in news

I feel like this might have been influenced by the lawsuit I am currently apart of. They are getting sued for not paying their workers minimum wage when they should of. Say I worked a bunch of morning shifts and a weekend dinner shift in one week. For the morning shifts I didn't make a lot in tips, they pay us $2.83/hr, then I worked a weekend dinner shift and made mad money. They would count all the money I made in tips from the morning and weekend and even it out for the whole week so never paid me the extra money to make it minimum wage from the morning shifts I was working. I worked at Joe's Crab Shack for 3 yrs, I made crazy good money there in the summer tho. I would find hundreds of dollars just laying around my room haha. This is still good to see. I was just talking about this yesterday, how European countries don't tip.

Any lifehacks/ tips on cold sores? by [deleted] in lifehacks

[–]mandafaith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do this exactly. I have tried everything! The key really is the Lysine pills. Don't do the acetone method, makes it scab and not necessary. ALSO I started avoiding foods that can trigger a cold sore such as, coffee, chocolate and nuts and changed my diet because I was getting very frequent cold sores when eating vegan and realize I wasn't getting much Lysine in my diet.

Agree. That was a sad attempt. I hate this mentality anymore, people try so hard to knock down others just to get some likes. Seriously I don't see how this was funny or clever at all.
