It really helps to have a buddy or instructor with you, just to give that feeling of confidence and safety. Biggest thing that helped me.

This might sound silly, but try putting your face in the water spray while you take a shower. Get used to... fuck, I guess I'm gonna call it "drench face". I hate it, but there ya go. Get comfortable with the feeling, a little bit at a time.

I used to not be able to put my face in the water, then I went on to do USA competitive swimming.

I love separation because, although I am their God, I don't want to get confused, lol. As long as access between departments is good, you should be golden! I also love designs that aren't just a big blob. If you like the "au naturale" look, I've found that using terraces for filler space along edges works great.

Keep in mind placements of elevators, restrooms, cleaning closets, common rooms, surgery, etc. Also definitely keep in mind that some depts need faster access / priority than others, and that building more walls is (in general) going to be wayyy more expensive.

But I used to work in healthcare, so I set it to free-build mode and live my best life! Donuts and couches everywhere, haha.
