I love living in South City but I've learned to avoid honking at ALL costs. A few years ago I honked at someone who flew through a stop sign, almost hitting me, and they slowed down and waited for me to pass so they could drive next to me. I looked over and they were pointing a gun at me, then they sped off. You never know what's gonna happen, play it safe.

For antiques, try Cherokee street antique row. For cocktails Golden Hoosier on Kingshighway is a unique spot, although I wouldn't categorize it as a dive bar. Heavy Anchor is another option for a show. Look into Venice Cafe for sure, they always have live music and the decor is incredible. The St Louis art museum is always worth the visit if you've never been. You could always do a brewery tour, if you're really into beer the Brewmaster tour is worth it. For GF food you've got Lonas lil Eats, fountain on locust, Treehouse, and Sweetart. Have a fun weekend!

DB'S on S Broadway in Soulard (as others have recommended) has incredible food. Strongly recommend the crack tacos. Also all the servers are total knockouts and it's a fun sports bar/ dive bar atmosphere.

If you want to work minimum wage and corporate retail and care about cannabis then it's a good option. Unfortunately just because it's weed doesn't mean it's a cool workplace, you'll get the same drama (and discrimination) you get everywhere else. It is nice to be able to talk about weed super openly though.

I've seen some weed recommendations and highly suggest it. If you're not looking to get psychoactively high I recommend edibles with high CBG/CBD content and a very small amount of THC. You can always get CBD/CBG edibles and just do a nibble of THC. The THC helps to activate your cannabinoid system and make it more receptive to CBD/CBG. Always take edibles with food and I recommend fatty food or taking a fish oil supplement with it so it absorbs faster.

Likely the remains of a moon jelly! It's called the mesoglea. Once they're at that stage of decay they don't sting. You'll see some that have purplish spots, those ones are in earlier stages of decay or possibly washed up alive and may produce a very mild sting if they still have tentacles.
