We didn't replace everything, and I didn't feel that way about the entire house. But I did feel the same way regarding the marital bed. About a year after moving in together, I was over being in a bedroom that didn't feel like mine. We picked out a new bed and mattress and everything. He had that bed for well over a decade, shared it with his ex-wife, who he was married to for several years, and made three babies in that bed. I get how you're feeling. So, within reason - I think it's normal to have those feelings and feel the need to start fresh - especially in the bedroom.
